Since leaving the White House about six years ago, former First couple Barack and Michelle Obama continue to give off an aura of couple goals, and fans just can’t get enough.
The two, who have been married for three decades, sometimes bless their social media followers with pictures of intimate moments spent together, including with their daughters Malia and Sasha.
Most recently, they stepped out for a much-needed date night at the US Open, which Michelle didn’t hesitate to share online, highlighting their relaxed looks.

The former US President and his wife certainly had a great time out and about at the US Open, as witnessed on Michelle’s Instagram feed. One of her latest posts featured the lovebirds smiling broadly at the camera as they posed side by side hugging each other.

They were both dressed casually for the occasion, with Barack rocking gray khaki slacks, a matching sweater jacket, white button-down shirt and brown shoes.
Instead, her partner looked chic in a long denim dress paired with a cropped black jacket and sandals. The post also featured an adorable glimpse of the 44th US President kissing his partner on the cheek, prompting her to beam with happiness.
The post was captioned, “Game, set, match. ?,” and got over half a million likes from overjoyed followers who also commented on the adorable looking couple. “Best President and First Lady!!!❤️❤️,” one supporter enthused while another followed: “Y’all look tanned, hydrated, relaxed & SO ding dang cool. In the caption, Michelle talks about the significant changes the tennis industry has undergone over the past five decades for gender equality.
He wrote, “50 years ago, the United States Tennis Association changed the game by awarding equal prize money to men and women competing at the @USOpen.” The Chicago native added that the “major milestone” wouldn’t have happened without King, and he was honored to celebrate the change.

She then wrote about the lessons she learned from the sports teacher, declaring that when women’s rights are unequal, they all have the choice to fight for their own future and that of their daughters. The candid words left fans gushing in the comments, including King, who said, “Thank you for the kind words last night. We are all in this together.”
Barack and Michelle’s date night at the US Open follows the death of their longtime chef, Tafari Campbell, who was found dead near their Martha’s Vineyard home.
The cause of death was recently revealed to be an “accident,” as the culinary expert had drowned while visiting the property. Before Campbell’s death, he was seen paddling in Edgartown’s Big Pond when he fell into the water after losing his balance.
He struggled to stay alive but unfortunately could not, and his body was later found the next morning.
