On Monday, Bebe Rexha opened up on TikTok about her worries ahead of the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) in New Jersey. The 34-year-old singer, with about 8.5 million TikTok followers, shared her feelings in a candid video titled “Anxiety sucks.”
Rexha expressed her nervousness about the VMAs despite being grateful for a Best Collaboration nomination for “I’m Good (Blue)” with David Guetta.
He acknowledged that criticism comes with fame, stating, “I know that criticism comes with the territory, so I’m all good with that. I mean, sometimes it gets to me. I’m human.”

The singer continued, “But I just want to talk about this because I meet a lot and a lot of times they’ll say, ‘Oh my God, I love how you’re all about being positive and confident.’ Let me tell you, right now, I don’t feel so confident.”
Rexha emphasized that despite her positive and confident image, she is currently battling anxiety and stress, especially regarding potential comments about her weight on the red carpet.
She added, “I’m so anxious and stressed to go on the red carpet and, I think, people are talking about my weight. Because I don’t really love myself right now. I don’t really feel like a b**** bad that I usually am.

The alleged text from Safyari read, “You gained 35 pounds, gained weight, and your face changed? Should I pretend it didn’t happen and it’s ok?”
He continued, “Hey. I never said you weren’t beautiful and I never said I didn’t love you. I said how beautiful you are and how much I love you. But I always said I would be honest with you and your face changed to I told you that.”
“Come on, I gained 3 pounds and you call me chubbs and fat. That doesn’t mean you don’t love me. If you’re trying to find a reason to break up, this makes sense… but it’s not the real reason.”
“You know I’ve always found you beautiful and love you no matter what,” the text concluded.
