Not long after Bekah Liechty won Voice, he and his brothers lost their beloved father. Christopher Liechty sadly passed away on January 27, 2022 at the age of 56. So, that was a big hurdle for him and his siblings. The trio announced their father’s death via Instagram.
In honor, A girl named Tom announced that they are moving forward with their weekend concert in his honor. His brother Calen said, “We had three shows the weekend after our father died. You may be wondering why we would do that. We want to be able to get rid of them so we can really process his death and plan for his memorial service”.
He really wanted us to do this show. When he talked about his death, he was like ‘Don’t let my death stop you from doing this show.’ He didn’t get his wish Thursday night, but he will be with us tonight,” said Bekah’s brother, Joshua.
“Not even 24 hours after we won Voice On that stage, we got to be in the hospital room with our Dad, all our family together and it was surreal just to share that moment with them,” Bekah shared on The Ellen Show.
Where Does Bekah Liechty Live Now?
Bekah Liechty is from Pettisville, Ohio and she and her brother are currently based in Nashville as their headquarters.
“Being in Nashville will make our lives easier. We will launch our tour from there, and that is where our management is,” Joshua told South Blend Tribune. “We love being part of the music scene there.”
While appearing on Ellen’s show, the trio shared that they are from a small town in Ohio where barely 500 people live and there are no stoplights. They talk about the love they receive from their hometown.
The first show was at a halfway house winery, it was Bekah’s first time singing with her two brothers in front of 300 people.
But, based on his latest post from May 10, 2022, he is in Los Angeles, California. He performed at The Troubadour where Joni Mitchell played her first LA show, James Taylor made his solo debut, Elton John made his US debut, and Radiohead made their US live debut “OK Computer”.
Almost a week before that, Bekah was in Nashville, Tennessee.

While appearing on The Ellen Show, Bekah’s brother Caleb shared that they are working on an album throughout COVID at their house and they can’t wait to share it. He also shared that the album will be released next year (2022) and also talked about the national tour.
They have already released their debut album Hits From the Road on February 19, 2021.
