Modeling runs in the Hadid family, as evidenced by Alana Hadid with her runway debut.
Alana is the half-sister of supermodels Gigi and Bella Hadid from their father Mohammed Hadid’s first marriage to Mary Butler.
Walking the runway for the first time was a huge milestone for the Instagram sensation, and she took to social media to announce using memorable highlights from the show along with a note of appreciation.

Alana marks her runway debut in Denmark, working with Copenhagen brand Saks Potts. He revealed it on Instagram, exclaiming, “Core memory made in Denmark with @sakspotts ?? my first runway!”
He also credits the founders for allowing him to open runway shows. In her words, “Thank you @barbarapotts @cathrinesaks ??️✨what a way to arrive in Copenhagen, opening the most amazing brand… in the rain.”
Alongside the message were ten photos from the event, starting with a view of the July-born baby posing against a white background. He wore a loose blue button up shirt and loose white striped pants.
The second slide featured a Saks Potts shopping bag with Alana’s name on it, while the following fall featured a hairdresser brushing the model’s hair in a dressing room.
In the fourth image, Alana is surrounded by several other runway models, all wearing yellow button-down shirts. The fifth picture shows an unidentified individual revealing a new tattoo on his ankle while fans can see details of his outfit for the show in the sixth slide.
It consisted of a sparkly blue skirt over denim pants and a beige blazer over a tiny white strappy top. The seventh slide showcases the 40-year-old behind the scenes, surrounded by creative friends preparing him to open the show.
In the eighth slide, she moves flawlessly on the runway – an open road by the sea, while in the following image, Alana poses on the runway with a severe expression. Ending the carousel is a video of him and Nadine Matar expressing their excitement at successfully opening the show and marking his first runway walk.

Modeling isn’t the only thing that runs in the Hadid family, as the siblings also have a knack for fashion. Alana discussed the matter with Grazia in 2019 while touching on her relationship with her supermodel siblings.
He insists that they are “pretty normal” people who would rather “eat takeout and watch Netflix than go out.” The fashion expert also mentioned that Gigi and Bella’s success has never hindered their bond.
“Regardless of Gigi and Bella’s fame and their hard work, we are just sisters. We went shopping, cooked a little and had a group chat. We do all the things that the younger brothers do,” he explained.
He stated, “’My sister [Marielle] in fashion, and Gigi and Bella and my brother Anwar. It’s in the genes.’” Alana added that she and her siblings, who change clothes all the time, “protect and support each other” and make sure to stay “so close” despite being famous.
If her sister’s fame is putting pressure on her, the 40-year-old bag designer declares, “I’m not competing with my sister or my brother. We all have a natural work ethic, and I feel accomplished – I do a lot of things that people probably don’t know about, and so do my siblings. Being famous is not success.”
Supermodel Siblings Follow in Mother’s Footsteps, Yolanda Hadid
Although sisters Alana, Gigi and Bella are famous models, their path was paved by their mother, Yolanda Hadid, who was once signed to Ford Models.
Yolanda married her daughter’s father in 1994 and separated in 2000. In addition to Gigi and Bella, the former couple has a son Anwar Hadid.
Before the real estate developer married Yolanda, he tied the knot with Mary Butler, who produced Alana and her sister Marielle. She was also in a relationship with Shiva Safai from 2014 to 2019.
Compared to Alana, Gigi and Bella, Marielle owns a business called Living Well with Marielle, which is quite private but has revealed that she has two children and is dating Jack Halloran.
