‘Bella Twins’ Break Silence On WWE Vince McMahon Sex Trafficking Allegations

Nikki and Brie Bella have broken their silence and finally addressed the allegations against their former boss, Vince McMahon.

The WWE founder’s reputation took a nosedive after a former employee accused him of sex-trafficking and defecating on his head during the trio’s lawsuit.

The Bella Twins, who are WWE icons before retiring in March 2023, are now speaking out.

In a statement shared on Instagram, the twin sisters appear to show their support for the alleged victim. “We are shocked and dismayed by the recent allegations against members of WWE,” they began.

The message continued, “A lot to process since we found out last week as you all have. This is something we do not support or condone for anyone, no matter who they are.”

Nikki and Brie declared themselves advocates for women, telling the world that “we want all women to feel safe and supported at work and in their everyday lives.”

Last week, The Blast announced that McMahon was being sued by a former employee identified as Janel Grant, who sought to void the non-disclosure agreement she had signed in a $3 million settlement in 2022.

In the lawsuit, Grant claims that McMahon forcibly penetrated her with a sex tool named after her wrestler, leaving her bleeding and bruised. He recalled a 2021 incident in which McMahon and another WWE official locked him in a room at the wrestling company’s Stamford, Connecticut headquarters, where they took turns sexually assaulting him.

Grant shared several examples of sexual abuse she allegedly suffered at the hands of McMahon and had screenshots of text messages to support her claims. The document alleges McMahon once shared photos of Grant in text messages from 2020 with others, writing:

“He might scream and try to say NO!! Although it will [Be] hard to say anything with ac— down his throat.”

Grant further alleged that McMahon, WWE, and former head of talent relations John Laurinaitis violated the Victims of Trafficking Prevention Act while causing him intentional infliction of emotional distress and civil battery. The allegations relate to years of sexual and emotional abuse that Grant claims he suffered while working for WWE.

Grant’s attorney also released a statement regarding the lawsuit, “Today’s complaint seeks to hold accountable the two WWE executives who sexually assaulted and trafficked Plaintiff Janel Grant, as well as the organization that facilitated or turned a blind eye to that abuse and then swept it under the rug.”

He continued, “He is a very private and courageous person who has suffered deeply at the hands of Mr. McMahon and Mr. [John] Laurinaitis. Ms Grant hopes her suit will prevent other women from becoming victims. This organization is well aware of Mr. McMahon’s history of depraved behavior, and it is time they are held accountable for his leadership misconduct.”
