Kourtney Kardashian wants to straighten out her family, including her mother Kris Jenner.
The fourth season of “The Kardashians” ended with an awkward conversation between Jenner and her daughters, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian.
In an attempt to learn more about her mother’s therapy, Kourtney opens a can of worms that reveals that her mother’s “feminine energy” is trapped inside her.

Avid viewers of “The Kardashians” know full well that Kourtney doesn’t back down from having some of the toughest discussions with her family. So it’s no surprise when the “One Life to Live” cast delved into the tense conversation about Kris being a “massive control freak.”

Explaining that he had noticed a pattern in his mother and wanted to know the reason behind the behavior, the 44-year-old asked, “What is it about you that makes you have this need to control? Have you ever wondered about yourself as to why you are the way you are?” control?”
Khloe defended Kris, pointing out that the 68-year-old won’t change, especially at his age, and suggested that Kourtney should just “accept” the way he is.
“You’re not like that in your 20s, but you also have a husband who leads, and now you lead. It does exist, you can return to your feminine energy whenever you want,” Kourtney teased.
The observation made Kris nervous and she dismissed her eldest son’s argument, stating that she was content with her boyfriend Corey Gamble. This prompted Kourtney to explain that feminine energy involves “self-care, not overthinking, not overdoing it.”
He then directly asks if his mom goes to therapy, causing Kris to shift the conversation to the “cute dimples” on her face and the wooden egg holder in the kitchen. At this point, Khloe can be heard quipping in the confessional, “God bless Kourtney because she’s trying to have this therapy talk, and God bless my mom because she’s definitely not.”
Later in the conversation, Kourtney pointed out that the Kardashian women’s pattern of choosing “bad partners” may have come from her maternal grandmother, Mary Jo Campbell.
While Kris claims that her mom “picked a great partner with Papa,” the Poosh founder disagrees, highlighting her grandmother’s three marriages:
“He has been married three times. We’ve all picked people that we thought we could change something different about them and we couldn’t.”

This isn’t the first time Kourtney, who exchanged vows with Travis Barker in 2022, will address the Kardashian-Jenner woman’s choice in men.
The awkward discussion with the momager came after Kourtney called out the Kardashian-Jenner women for not being more serious about setting boundaries in their relationship.
During the episode, the Poosh founder emphasized that the men in his family are lucky because his mother and sisters put a premium on being “one big happy family” over creating boundaries and supporting each other.
She stated, “We can make sure Khloé looks her best, she’s dressed, she feels good, she’s in glam, takes great pictures, we can do all of that. But really making sure that person feels supported, standing up, setting the boundaries that they need to set and being supported in that, because in this family, it’s not. Like I said, it’s lucky for you all. And it’s great for kids, but it’s also, like…”

Prior to Kourtney’s interest in her “feminine energy,” Kris discussed controlling some of Gamble’s choices. During the Sept. 28 episode of the hit Hulu show, the momager and Gamble discussed her loss of a role in the western series, “Yellowstone,” with Kim and Khloe.
The chat saw an excited — and slightly tipsy — Kris sharing that she’s looking forward to watching the next episode of “Yellowstone.”
To this, Corey playfully points out, “If it wasn’t for you, I’d be the star of Yellowstone.” The statement puzzled Kim and Khloe, prompting them to seek clarification from their mother.

The business mogul acknowledged his role in the internet personality’s situation, stating, “I think he needs to be in a romantic relationship.”
As it turns out, the 43-year-old – who has been with Kris for nine years – was offered a role on the Paramount Network hit show. However, the deal did not materialize and now fans know why.
