On Monday, Platt took to her Instagram story to reveal that her boyfriend, Galvin, proposed to her. It comes after the “Dear Evan Hansen” star first popped the question in November to lead the two down the road of marriage.
“He proposed again,” Platt announced on his page, showing off a beautiful sapphire splash on his left hand given to him by the “Good Doctor” cast.
Alongside the adorable revelation, Platt also uploaded a photo of their pet canine, George, holding a red rose in his mouth while surrounded by blue rose petals.

Written between the dog’s paws is “I say yes,” a sign that the couple’s love for each other hasn’t faded since the first proposal.
Later, 29-year-old Galvin uploaded both Instagram Stories but highlighted the second one with their dog with the adorable caption, “GEORGE DID THE ASKING.”
This Couple Is In No Rush To Get Married

As for wedding plans, Platt revealed during an appearance on “The View” last month that she and her fiancé are taking things slow.
“We just got engaged a few months ago, so we’re taking it easy and enjoying the engagement stage. You can only have that stage once,” Platt told the host, per People magazine.
She said of her fiancé, “He’s charming. I have known him for a long time. We were friends for years, and then I realized halfway through.”
While the two have ruled out any wedding plans for the near future, they have noted “early conversations about where we want to do it and what the atmosphere will be.”
They Confirmed Their Relationship In May 2020

Per many people, Galvin first confirmed their relationship status in May 2020 during an appearance on the “Little Known Facts with Ilana Levine” podcast.
“Ben and I are dating,” Galvin said at the time. “I asked him this morning; I was like, are we allowed to talk about this? And he was like, ‘Don’t get into our little things, but yeah, people can tell.’ It’s still relatively new.”

More than a year later, Platt opened up about the moment they finally decided to start their relationship after being close friends for years.
“We were friends for five years, and before the epidemic, we finally decided to give it a try. We skated around it for a long time,” Platt told Kelly Clarkson in an interview.
Both actors are best known for playing the role of Evan Hansen in the award-winning musical “Dear Evan Hansen.” Additionally, Platt received a Tony for the role before handing the baton to Galvin.
