Betty White’s Former LA Home Reduced Down To Rubble!

It’s been almost a year since Betty White left this earth.

On December 31, 2021, Betty moved to the afterlife and now, her home in Los Angeles is doing the same.

The Brentwood home where the actress and her third husband, Allen Ludden, lived from 1968 until here last year was demolished.

Betty’s assistant took to the ‘Golden Girls’ Instagram account to announce the white house with the yellow shutters has officially been demolished.

“Hello everyone! I owe a post (or two) that I know. This is a busy time of year and coming up on the anniversary of Betty’s death hit me in a way I didn’t expect,” the former aide wrote. “His Brentwood house is gone (save the fireplace which will be gone in no time). I promise an incredible tribute to our greatest woman very soon!!!!”

Betty’s Assistant Announces Sad News

Many fans were disappointed that the iconic house was demolished.

“This is terrible! Why demolish such a beautiful iconic house less than a year after his death?! ?,” wrote a fan.

“Why in the world would they tear it down? ?,” replied another sad fan.

This person was furious with the demolition writing, “Unless this is rebuilt into an animal rescue in some form to honor our White Queen … WE DON’T WANT IT! This is a sad and disappointing thing to post in his ‘tribute’.

Betty White’s Fans Disapprove of Her Home Being Demolished

However, there were always plans to demolish Betty’s house following her death at the age of 99.

Earlier in the year, Betty and Ludden’s home sold for $100,000 over the asking price of $10.6 million.

The home, which has five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a pool and has views of the Getty Museum and the Hollywood sign, was originally listed for $10.57 million.

The house is located at 506 N Carmelina Ave.

follow TMZ, several offers have been made for the house. The buyer of the property is unknown, but the store says it is not another celebrity.

Betty’s property was sold by Marlene Okulick of Sotheby’s International Realty – Pacific Palisades Brokerage.

According to street wall journalthe former couple bought the house because of its proximity to the studios in Hollywood.

Spokesman of the shared estate WSJ that the two-story home includes a sunroom where the actress reportedly enjoys views of the yard, which features flower-filled garden beds, old-growth trees and a swimming pool.

“Betty White was a California girl through and through,” the star’s estate told the WSJ. “Despite living in New York when she and Allen Ludden were first married, she longed to be ‘back home’ in Los Angeles where she grew up.”

The Sothesby listing states, “This property with large park-like grounds, views of the Getty Museum and the mountains has been lovingly cared for. Fenced and set back from the road on 3/4 acre, the setting is peaceful with gardens filled with flowers and old growth trees.
