Biden blasted for walking out before end of Medal of Honor ceremony: ‘Lack of respect’

President Biden was accused of disrespect after he hurried out of the East Room of the White House before the end of a Medal of Honor ceremony honoring a Vietnam War veteran on Tuesday.

Biden, 80, abruptly left the ceremony after tying the nation’s highest military decoration around the neck of retired Army Captain Larry Taylor, 81, before a closing prayer was read by Chaplain Brig. General William Green Jr.

Military veterans slammed Biden afterward, arguing that the commander-in-chief showed a shocking lack of respect.

“Excuse my French…But nothing is stupid. Biden’s continued lack of respect for anyone is appalling. Hawaii, Service members, active shooter victims, the list goes on,” former Navy SEAL and podcast host Shawn Ryan tweeted after the president made a hasty exit.

“At least he didn’t check his watch this time,” Rep. Wesley Hunt (R-Texas), an Army veteran, snapped at Xformerly known as Twitter.

He was referring to when Biden was seen looking at his watch during a memorial service for 13 US soldiers killed in an August 2021 terrorist attack near Kabul airport in Afghanistan.

Some questioned whether Biden’s sudden departure was premeditated or another case of the evasive leader not being sure where to go after giving a public statement.

“Do you think this was done on purpose or was it more of a senile moment? I think the man is too selfish he makes a mistake like this. God, this man is a disgrace to our country,” Gun Owners of America state director for Indiana Tim Harmsen thought in a tweet.

In the White House’s official video of the ceremony, the feed cut off shortly after Biden left the East Room, also ignoring the priest’s award.

The White House did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.

The famed helicopter pilot braved intense ground fire for 45 minutes while making low-level attack runs, hitting the enemy with bullets and aerial rockets as they surrounded US troops on the ground.

Lacking fuel and ammunition, Taylor decided to withdraw the US patrol group

He used his two-man Cobra helicopter, something never accomplished or attempted throughout the war, with complete disregard for his personal safety — all while holding enemy fire.
