President Joe Biden will host a March re-election campaign fundraiser in New York City next month with former presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton as guests.
Biden and his Democratic front-runners teased the March 28 event on X Tuesday, a day before he is expected to visit the Big Apple for three smaller fundraising events.
“Guys – I’ll be in NYC on March 28th to support @JoeBiden. Who comes with me? Enter for your chance to join,” Obama posted on the social media platform next to a campaign ad asking for donations for the Biden-Harris ticket.
Clinton responded cheekily.
“Count me in,” he tweeted. “Who else is going there?”
Biden also got in on the joke.
“You know you can call me next time, right?” he replied to X.
The fundraiser is expected to be larger than the president’s typical campaign event with small groups of donors and supporters around the country.

Biden has stepped up fundraising efforts for his re-election campaign since December. His campaign received the largest amount of monthly donations just last month since April 2023.
The president is expected to land in New York City around 12:40 pm Wednesday for three smaller events and at least two pro-Palestinian groups are already planning protests around his arrival over the president’s support of Israel in its war against Hamas.

Anti-Israel protesters have often staged protests at recent campaign events to protest US support for the Israeli government.
At several events, protesters interrupted Biden as he spoke to get their point across.
The commander-in-chief and the Democratic National Committee and their affiliated entities have raised more than $97 million in the last three months of 2023 and have a total of $117 million to close out the year, according to their report.
