Baldwin took to X (formerly Twitter) to launch a scathing attack on Stone over her claims about a producer urging her to sleep with him during the filming of “Sliver” in 1993.
He wrote: “Not sure why Sharon Stone keeps talking about me all these years later? Is she still into me or is she still hurt after all these years because I avoided her actions?”
Baldwin continued, “Did he say to his girlfriend Janice Dickinson the day after I did the screen test and ran into them on our MGM Grand flight back to New York… “I’m going to make her fall in love with me, it’s going to make her head spin?? ?”
He hinted at having incriminating information, adding that he had “so much dirt on him it made his head spin, but I shut up.”
Giving some context, she said: “The story of me meeting Bob Evans begging him to let me choreograph the final scene in the picture below so I wouldn’t have to kiss Sharon is absolute legend. Wonder if I should write a book and tell many, many disturbing, twisted and unprofessional stories about Sharon? That might be fun.”

The Emmy Award-winning actress recounted a disturbing encounter with late producer Robert Evans, who allegedly pressured her to sleep with costar William Baldwin (better known as Billy) to boost her performance.
“He was running around his office in sunglasses explaining to me that he slept with Ava Gardner and I should sleep with Billy Baldwin because if I slept with Billy Baldwin, Billy Baldwin’s performance would be better,” Stone recalled.
He continued: “And we need Billy to be better in the movie because that’s the problem. And if I can sleep with Billy then we’ll have chemistry on screen, and if I just have s– with him then that will save the movie, and the real problem with the movie is me because I’m so uptight, and so it’s not like a real actor who can just mem—him and recover. The real problem is that I’m so tight a—.”

Reflecting on the demands made by producers regarding her costar in “Sliver,” Stone expressed frustration at the lack of creative input and the expectation to increase chemistry through intimacy.
He contrasted the professionalism of his previous costar, Michael Douglas, with the pressure he faced in his role in “Sliver.”
“I don’t have to f— Michael Douglas. Michael can come to work and know how to hit that mark and do that line and practice and show up,” Stone said.
He added, “Now, all of a sudden, I’m in the ‘I’ve got to find people’ business.”
Despite the challenges, “Sliver” still achieved significant box office success, at $280 million, albeit below expectations.

Recalling her experience with a struggling Baldwin who “couldn’t pull off a whole scene in a test” in “Sliver,” Stone expressed frustration at the pressure to improve her performance through intimacy.
“Now you think if I meet him, he’ll be a good actor? Nobody’s good in bed.”
He emphasized the importance of talent and professionalism, adding: “I think they could have hired a costar with talent, someone who could deliver the scene and remember the lines. I also felt they could have gotten it themselves and left me out of it. It’s my job to act, and I said so.”
“This is not a popular response. I was considered difficult,” he added.
