Bindi Irwin is celebrating her mother Terri on her half birthday in a recent Instagram post showing her appreciation for her “beautiful mama.”

“In our family, we celebrate half birthdays and call them ‘unbirthdays.’ It’s a beautiful reminder that every day is a gift,” Bindi began captioning her sweet celebratory post. “Happy Birthday to my beautiful mama. Mom, you light up the world with your kind heart. I love you forever. ❤️”
In the photo, Bindi is seen wearing a necklace with a picture of her father, the late Steve Irwin, otherwise known as the Crocodile Hunter. The sweet mother and daughter photo was taken in November at the Steve Irwin Gala, an annual event that celebrates Steve’s legacy and helps raise funds for Wildlife Warriors Worldwide.

It is not an unusual sight to see on Bindi’s social media that she expresses her love and appreciation for her family. In late December, she posted a photo of herself with her mother and brother Robert with only the caption, “???” Many of her followers have long followed her family’s journey and commented on missing her father, but being grateful. that the family continues its legacy.

Bindi often shares photos and videos of her daughter Grace growing up surrounded by animals and her many interactions with residents at the zoo. Powell hosted a video showing what happened after the zoo closed and Grace was able to explore her large backyard, otherwise known as the Australia Zoo.
“We’re here with special behind-the-scenes footage of someone starting their work day as soon as everyone gets home,” Powell says at the start of the video, before showing daughter Grace in pjs walking around the zoo. “Grace Warrior is Australia Zoo’s maintenance crew. He’s a crew member,” Bindi said at the end of the cute video.
