Bone-chilling photos show Cash App founder Bob Lee’s alleged killer Nima Momeni smiling in jail

New photos have emerged showing Cash App founder Bob Lee’s alleged killer Nima Momeni smiling behind bars as he awaits trial.

Momeni was ready for a photo shoot, with the accused killer nonchalantly posing behind a glass-and-metal door at the San Bruno jail in a photo obtained by The Post show.

The accused killer, who faces life in prison if convicted of killing the tech mogul, appeared to smooth down his close-cropped hair before striking a cross-legged pose as he smiled and smiled at the camera in his bright orange jumpsuit.

Among them, the psychology book can be seen in the picture as well as the biography of Napoleon Bonaparte 2015.

He also appears to have several photographs and a piece of paper taped to his wall, along with another stack of books in the photo, which was taken in August.

Momeni has been accused of stabbing Lee to death with a kitchen knife under the Bay Bridge in San Francisco in early April after arguing with him about his sister, Khazar Elyassnia.

Lee, 43, was taken to hospital where he later died after being found unresponsive and bleeding profusely.

Momeni was arrested 11 days later and has since been denied bail, as family members have called him “crazy and psychotic” and prosecutors have warned the court that he is a danger to the public.

Momeni has been kept in solitary confinement for the past seven months while he awaits trial. Outside of his lawyer, his mother was the only one who visited him, according to the San Francisco Standard.

Prosecutors claimed Momeni was upset that the tech executive had encouraged Elyassnia – arrested for DUI earlier this week – to do “inappropriate” things.

Lee was found with cocaine and ketamine in his system and it was later revealed that he regularly attended drug and sex parties with Momeni’s sister, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Elyassnia had sent a message to Lee when he was killed, allegedly saying: “Just wanted to make sure you’re ok Because I know nima has insulted you.”

Police do not suspect he was involved in the murder.

The man was seen leaving the Millennium Tower – where his sister lived with her plastic surgeon husband – in surveillance footage shortly before Lee was killed.
