The audience patiently waits with bated breath, wondering what happened to the school nurse calling Cooper at a work event. They soon got an answer when she hurried back to the room, anxiously telling the crowd she had to get to her daughter’s school ASAP.

“Fatherhood is…everything changes. Every thing is really overshadowed by, or brought into a glorious color, by the fact that I can be a father to a great man.
“You have this great thing or breakthrough with a script, or you have this wonderful moment on set or in the editing room,” he continued. “You have 40 of those moments every day with your child that level of joy. That’s not spinning; that’s just the truth.”
The gush fest continues in another interview, with Cooper sharing more details about dad’s life. “Well, I’ve been exposed to the world of children’s music, that’s for sure,” he joked before opening up about his fatherhood journey.
“I spent about 15 years going from film to film to film. And then I got to 39, and I stopped, and I said, ‘What do I really want to do?'” the Hollywood veteran recalled, adding:
“I think having kids and having my own family — which is a miracle and something I’ve always dreamed of — has opened me up a lot more, I think, to today and to being present.”
Although he claims having children makes him more present, other sources have previously stated his schedule barely includes his ex-girlfriend. At the time of their split, an insider claimed: “They spent a lot of time apart. [Irina is] not focused on the celebrity part, or on the fame — he just wants to protect his family.”
