Bre Tiesi is setting the record straight about her parentage status while silencing naysayers.
Tiesi is the mother of Nick Cannon’s eighth child, Legendary Love, and the two have a good co-parenting relationship, as can often be seen on social media. However, that hasn’t stopped fans from labeling her a single mom, possibly because of Cannon’s multiple baby mamas.
Now, the social media influencer has shut down the headlines, stating that she has a good co-parenting relationship with her baby daddy.
Bre Tiesi is not a single mother
In an Instagram Story update, the “Selling Sunset” star shared a video of a conversation between a woman and two men on “Nice and Neat The Podcast.” When asked by one of the men if she would consider herself a single mother, the woman said no.

“I call myself a co-parent,” she replied. She later explained, “single mom is where I grew up with my mom.” The woman in the clip shared that for a long time, she felt uncomfortable with people calling her a single mother.
“I’m like, but I’m not a single mother. I am a co-parent. Someone shares this responsibility with me, and someone is very active, you know, in the lives of my children. Like, I knew what I was doing when I picked him, right?”
The woman in the TikTok clip stated that that was not the case for her mother, who she believed was a single mother as she raised three children alone without the support or presence of a father.
Tiesi seemed to wholeheartedly agree with the post as he captioned it, “this….” There’s no doubt Cannon has been a current force in his son’s life. From attending Legendary’s birth to a recent family trip to a pumpkin patch for the little one’s first Halloween, the “Wild N’ out” host seems to be doing a good job.
In October, Tiesi praised Cannon for being photogenic when she shared a heartwarming video of the rapper beatboxing to keep their son from crying.
Tiesi Slams Critics Who Think Cannon Is His Sugar Daddy
This isn’t the first time the reality star has set the record straight about her parenting relationship with the “Masked Singer” host. Back in September, The Blast broke the news that the mother of one let go of fans who suggested that Cannon was responsible for taking care of her financially.
The real estate agent happened to be on an Instagram rant, lamenting the struggles of motherhood, when a fan took to her DMs to suggest that Cannon pay a night nurse to look after the baby. Tiesi did not appreciate the unsolicited comments, writing, “I don’t need your unsolicited advice, thank you. You have damn nerve.”
In an update afterward, the doting mom cleared the air while slamming critics. “KEEP MY PARENTING, MY CHILD AND MY BABY DADDY’S NAME OUT OF YOUR MOUTH. Nick is NOT my sugar daddy. Nick is the DADDY OF ALL MY FUCKING CHILDREN. Watch your damn mouth when you talk about my mouth!” he warned.
Tiesi also voiced the statement of fans who think that she as a working mother does not give her enough time to be with her son. “I didn’t expect this opportunity when I first got pregnant,” she explained, referring to her joining the sixth season of Netflix’s “Selling Sunset.”
Tiesi continued, “My plan was always to stay at home for the first year with my son. He’s looking for comfort and bonding with his mom since I’m WORKING myself to death trying to manage the household, get my body back, etc. so sit down, I’m not the one. .”

Tiesi and Cannon welcomed their son Legendary in July via a home birth attended by the rapper. The social media personality praised her for being so active, writing, “I couldn’t have asked for a more amazing and supportive partner. Dad show us… I can’t do it without you.”
