Dillon Danis may be a great fighter, but he’s not very good with promises.
The professional wrestler was quick to cancel the tight-lipped deal he had with fellow wrestler Logan Paul before their match on Saturday, October 14. Paul emerged victorious in a highly anticipated fight as Danis suffered a shock defeat via disqualification.
Dillon Danis’ Core Strengths Don’t Include Keeping Promises
Danis appeared on British TV host Piers Morgan’s show “Piers Morgan Uncensored” after his epic defeat at the hands of Paul. However, just before the match, Danis bet his share of the earnings on the outcome of the star-studded fight, saying, “I bet I knock you down.”
Morgan immediately issued a large blank check charging Danis to live up to his end of the bargain, which also prompted Danis to reveal that he had been paid over $1 million for the fight.

In a short clip that appeared on X (formerly Twitter), Danis slyly wiggles his way out of filling in the blanks on a check by reminding Morgan that persistent pleading can turn the tide. In his words:
“We’re appealing, though. It might actually be a win for me because he punched me to the ground.”
The YouTuber’s comment sent social media into a frenzy when the comment appeared under X Morgan’s page. One follower wrote, “A bet is a bet. Don’t try & get out of it because of a technicality! You will earn more respect by handing over your wallet.”
A commenter who seemed familiar with the wrestler wrote, “Well, Dillon won’t go through with it! He will probably appeal the promise.” Other users are eager to know if “Dillon Danis keeps his promise.” While the fourth fan simply praised Dillon for his potential.
The match was filled with so many highlights, including one where Paul’s safety, along with his brother Jake Paul, rushed to the court to protect him. Although Paul won by disqualification of Dillon, the 28-year-old landed some impressive punches on the New Jersey-born wrestler, who was trash for the majority of the match.
At the end of the fourth and final round, Danis landed 9 punches, far less than Paul’s 82 punches.
Logan Paul Screams at His Fiancé After His Win
Paul did not forget to pay tribute to his supportive fiancee, who unfortunately was not present at the match. In his romantic tribute to Nina Agdal, which has now gone viral on social media, an exhausted Paul said:
“A battle like this is not easy; he is a true devil, a true coward. Now, I want to thank the most important woman in my life, next to my mother, of course! My beautiful fiancé!”
He continued with praise as his team quietly moved his mother to the back and let Adgal’s name enjoy the attention, “Wherever he is, honey, I love you so much. You are my heart and soul. I can’t wait to start a family with you. Live the rest of my life with you.”
He ended his tribute by encouraging his fans who are going through tough times. In his words, “These past two months have not been easy. Sometimes, the devil will come into your life.”
According to The Blast, Paul’s reference to the devil may be related to Dillion’s evil act of uploading explicit photos of Agdal on social media.
The move led the Danish model to file a lawsuit against Danis and accuse him of “cyber harassment and bullying.” The model claims that Dillion illegally shared “indecent, sexually explicit photos of her on the internet without her consent.”
Following his lawsuit, a judge granted a restraining order prohibiting Dillion from contacting or coming within 100 yards of Agdal. Sources have also suggested that it might be the reason why he was absent from the main event.
Agdal and Paul’s relationship started in 2022 and became public in December 2022. However, in July 2023, the couple announced their engagement. The intimate proposal took place on Lake Como in Italy; however, the wedding date is yet to be announced by the power couple.
