Brie Larson Told By Universal Studios Employee

Larson may have gone to his Super Nintendo World debut by invitation, but that doesn’t mean he can break any rules.

In her latest Instagram post, Larson, wearing a Super Mario Bros hoodie is line dancing behind Luigi when she’s intercepted by well-meaning Universal studio staff who say something to her, inaudible on the video. Apparently the staff asked him not to go any further. Far from any celebrity anger, Larson immediately stopped and assured the person that she would not go any further.

He then whips his head towards the cameras that are recording him and excitedly shouts, “I’m dancing with Mario and Luigi!”

In the caption, Larson wrote, “Dancing to the castle to find Princess Peach, Super Nintendo World is EVERYTHING I wish life in the Mushroom Kingdom would be like!

Fans stood by him with him, as one found the worker’s behavior “very SMALL”.

Another commented, “the fact that you have to explain to employees that you’re not going to follow them all the way through SENDS ME…”

More fans also commented:

“You should have said ‘do you know who I am? I saved the world with the avengers, nerd.'”

Although many found the video really funny, the way he was told by Universal Studios staff.

Wrote one slightly jealous fan, “The pure joy on your face is amazing. Besides, me and my son are so jealous. Gotta love how security is all like, ‘Yo, cuz. I know you’re captain in awe, but you’re on *my* mushroom kingdom now.’ ‘I will go no further!’”

Another Instagram user tried to explain why Universal Studios behaved the way they did, “Cute, but not safe. A grown man comes from behind a costumed character. They can’t see you. Obviously, you meant no harm. Security doesn’t know that. It can end very badly. Not beating you. Have fun, but be safe and smart.”

For other fans, it’s all about joy as they wrote, “Watching you dance and wiggle and get giddy as a child brings me joy. Many celebrities just want to show off their red carpet character. You show a side to get as excited as I do about the little things that bring you immense pleasure. Thanks for sharing this. It made my day.”
