It seems that one of the most controversial elements of Britney Spears’ memoir began to be her doll collection.

They are also special to me because of the years we spent collecting them,” Lynne wrote in the caption. “Of course, I still have your things, and I’m happy to send them to you if you want me to. Please tell me and know how much I love you!”

A few days later, on Saturday, November 11, Britney finally addressed her mother’s comments in an Instagram post that seemed to focus more on the time she met Taylor Swift. “Ps my mom loves you so much, but there were 3 dolls in the cabinet when I came home 2 years ago … kinda weird you would take them out and then put them back in … so messed up,” Britney wrote. “No, I don’t want them. Save everything. I honestly don’t care anymore … to be honest.”
