Singer Britney Spears apologized to Alexa Nikolas for yelling at her on the set of her sister Jamie Lynn Spears’ sitcom, “Zoey 101.”
At the time, pregnant Britney believed that Alexa had bullied her younger sister, causing her to lash out. Alexa has denied bullying anyone and has since participated in a nearly hour-long interview titled, “What Really Happened On Set Of Zoey 101.”
In the interview, Alexa said that Britney “screamed at me” for bullying her sister, which Alexa described as a “completely dark moment.” Alexa couldn’t believe that her childhood idol told her that she would never have a career again, although she also understood that Britney was “going through her own thing” at the time.
It seems Britney finally watched the October 28 interview and decided to release her response in a series of messages sent to her Twitter account.

“It broke my heart to see your interview about your experience in the business … Hollywood is a dream place but let’s be honest … sometimes people come out years later and share the dark side !!!” Britney started. “There are thousands of people who have had their dreams shattered and I am so impressed that you are raising awareness for the next generation about how to be protected.”
“The one thing you said you wish you could tell your younger self is that you wish you could have known you could just leave!!!” Britney continued. “Many times I did the same thing and I took the abuse … good to know I’m not the only one who has felt that way … I know 15 years later what you shared but trust me … I know it still matters !!!”

“The assistant director and my mother including in the room just shut up !!!” Britney remembered. “My sister is exactly like my son growing up … so I apologize for my ignorance for yelling at you when I clearly had no idea what was really going on !!!”
