Singer Britney Spears will join Sam Asghari in shooting a new documentary about her life called “Britney Spears: The Price of Freedom.”
The controversial special aired last Monday and looked at Britney’s life after her conservatorship, which ran from February 2008 to November 2021. The special took a long look at Britney’s daily activities, along with her marriage to Sam and her mental health.
Most of the comments painted an unflattering picture of the 41-year-old pop star, so much so that Britney said her friends called her expecting her to “laugh” at what was said.

On Thursday night, the “Hold Me Closer” singer took to Instagram to share a photo of a woman staring off into the distance with patches under her eyes. “Thinking about when I was a teenager and I would ride in the trunk of my friend’s car to parties in the gravel pit, sleep well on the hard floor and eat McDonalds whenever I wanted, and now I have 13 steps. skin care routine, sleep at 9:30, exercise every day […] and eat most plants.”
It looks like Britney cut out whatever was written on the photo, but the look remains the same. Times change, and people like him are not the same people who had a public meltdown in 2007, a year before his suffocating conservatorship. In the caption, Britney began, “Considering what happened to me in conservatorship and how hard I worked every day to be a better person because it’s over!!!”

He then targeted the media outlet that produced the special. “Concern and fair effort on the part of TMZ to be the trashiest news outlet for news !!! Damn I’m flattered!!!” he wrote. “These guys who I don’t even know who they are, are talking about me as if they have any right at all to do so!!!”
It seems, at least, all of Britney’s friends know that the allegations made in the documentary have some truth to them, as Britney wrote, “My girlfriend called me and said ‘Because I know you I’m laughing at these guys and what they say’ !!! But he also said it was really disturbing how scheming and stupid it was !!!”

Britney went on to say that “The media is always mean to me and most people probably won’t comment on it but I think some people might believe this and I care !!! I almost feel like my life in business is always the girl at school who gets bullied and laughed at!!! But in my case there is no higher person to straighten it out !!!”
Britney then took aim at her father, Jamie Spears, who was one of the main people who controlled her finances, her career decisions, and her life during her conservatorship. “My father is supposed to be the one who is supposed to protect my mind and heart from these things but he is the main one who secretly likes it!!!” he wrote before tackling his memoirs, which reportedly faced delays for legal reasons.

“I think some people want to hear my story … either through a book or what have you ??? I had to stop several times!!!” he wrote. “It might take me a year, maybe longer who knows… to share my story!!!”
She then closed her post with advice she got from her grandmother, writing, “My grandmother told me two things I will never forget!!! People come here for two reasons … either for instruction or blessing and he says ‘Darling the real key to happiness is to forget everything that has ever happened’ !!! It’s a new day y’all!!!”

Apparently, even though she’s not happy with what’s being said about her in the special, Britney is trying to look the other way and move on with her life.
