Pop star Britney Spears deleted her Instagram account after admitting she read headlines she didn’t like about her memoir.
Although “The Woman In Me” doesn’t come out until Tuesday, there have been numerous reports about her relationship with ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake, including allegations of infidelity and an unplanned pregnancy.
It seems all the headlines about her memoir may have been too much for the pop star to take, as she deactivated her Instagram account on Friday night after saying she didn’t mean to “offend” anyone earlier in the day.

“Can’t wait to read your book soon next week. Thank you for opening your heart to us. We love you. Your past has its own meaning and yes, we are not alone because we have you,” commented another follower. “The media twists everything. It’s stupid and silly. And you shouldn’t feel the need to explain yourself,” shared another fan.
“You don’t have to apologize to anyone; this is your experience and your truth. if people don’t like how it affects you maybe they shouldn’t treat you like that. From one traumatized person to another, you deserve peace and happiness. The media is looking for clicks and using your trauma for that,” wrote another fan.
