Britney Spears Ex-Husband To Have No Contact With Alleged Stalking Victim

There are new developments in the alleged stalking case following the arrest of Jason Alexander, who was married to singer Britney Spears for 55 hours in 2004.

He allegedly stalked a woman at the gym, confronted her in the gym pool while she was with her child, and also followed her home. The unidentified woman also claimed he called and texted her several times, even after she asked him to stop. Law enforcement arrested him earlier this month, and now, a judge has ordered him not to communicate with the woman he’s accused of stalking.

In June, a woman claimed that she had a confrontation with Jason Alexander in the parking lot of a Life Time Fitness gym facility in Franklin Tennessee. He said that he told her to leave him alone; however, he called and texted several times after the incident. After she found him driving slowly outside her home, she called law enforcement, who arrested him.

On Monday morning, TMZ was the first to report that a judge had ordered him to stay away from the woman. He is not allowed to have any contact with her and he is not allowed to post about her on social media, the outlet said. A trial has been scheduled for August 2024, about a year from now, while Jason works out other legal issues.

Britney’s Protective Order Against Her Ex-Husband Expired Last Friday

Britney Spears' ex-husband Jason Alexander has been arrested for the third time in 12 months.MEGA

As The Blast previously reported, Britney’s own protective order against him expired last Friday, although there is still a three-year restraining order against him. The restraining order was granted to the “Toxic” singer and his bodyguard, Richard Eubeler, after he broke his marriage to Iranian actor Sam Asghari in June 2022.

While live streaming the event on his phone, Jason somehow managed to get past the security guards and was able to get to Britney’s Thousand Oaks ranch. Fortunately, she was not in contact with the pop star and the security guards were able to get her out of the house before the police showed up and arrested her.

After the incident, Jason told the Daily Mail that he didn’t actually believe that Britney really wanted to get married, because her father controlled most of her personal and financial affairs during her conservatorship, which lasted from February 2008 to November 2021. “It’s all for show. Hollywood script,” he said at the time. “I don’t think he looks happy. It was all unreal.”

“I can’t allow him to get married with our conversation over the past two years,” he continued. “I’m not there to cause harm. I was just there to Talk to Britney and make sure she was okay, and this is what she wanted.” Jason had previously attended a rally from the Free Britney movement and said he spoke with the pop star, but it is unclear if this conversation actually took place.

Britney’s new memoir, “The Woman In Me,” is set to hit shelves this October. However, fans may be able to hear more about her conservatorship before that date, as she is reportedly set to open up about her experience in a candid interview with Oprah Winfrey.

A source told The Sun that Oprah had reached out to the pop star after her conservatorship ends in November 2021; however, a source told the outlet that Britney is “still embracing the free life and mentally processing her freedom.” They state that, in 2023, Britney is in a “different place now” and her opinion may have changed.

“The [interview] The proposal remains complicated for Britney who continues to face challenges talking to strangers at length about intimate aspects of her life,” the insider said. “Trauma doesn’t disappear overnight just because conservatorship ends. Some days can be very testing and conversations can trigger him to behave strangely or erratically.”

“Of course, putting a TV lens on him can be a problem and that means a proper news-style interview is out of the question,” they continued, adding, “However, a more stylish interview, allowing him and the team to have control is an option. Action like that, to work with a production company or someone like Oprah, would be the strongest game, but the reality is managing Britney’s mental well-being and health in the process.

Now that she’s free from her conservatorship, they state that if Britney decides to speak on camera, that’s her decision. Britney Spears’ highly anticipated memoir, “The Woman In Me,” will be released on October 24, 2023.
