On Tuesday, exactly one week before her smash memoir “The Woman In Me” hits shelves, People magazine released a few excerpts from Britney’s latest book. One of the quotes reveals why Britney cut off all her hair before the start of her conservatorship.
In her upcoming book, Britney writes, “I’ve been very observant growing up. I’ve been looked up and down and had people tell me what they thought of my body since I was a teenager. Shaving my head and acting was my way of pushing back. .”
Unfortunately, after her conservatorship began, she was no longer vocal about her appearance. “I understand that those days are over,” he wrote. “I had to grow my hair out and get back into shape. I had to go to bed early and take whatever medicine they told me to take.”
