Britney Spears dated Donald ‘Reg’ Jones in high school long before she started dating Justin Timberlake. However, Jones, now 45, had a strong reaction to the implication that the “Cry Me A River” singer pushed her to terminate an unplanned pregnancy.
“Is it a man who will ask a woman to have an abortion? Then he’s a piece of s— in my book,” Jones told The Post on Friday. He went on to say that he regretted Britney’s decision to leave Louisiana and return to the entertainment industry at the young age of 15. “He didn’t want to go to Hollywood. He’s been up there dancing, singing long enough,” Jones claimed.

In an excerpt of “The Woman In Me,” released by People magazine a week before the memoir’s official release, the “Overprotected” singer opens up about the shocking revelation. “It’s a shock, but for me, it’s not a tragedy. I love Justin so much. I always hope we have a family together one day. This will be sooner than I expected,” he wrote in his memoirs. “But Justin is definitely not happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were too young.”
“I don’t know if that was the right decision. If it was left up to me, I wouldn’t do it. But Justin was so adamant that he didn’t want to be a father,” she continued, adding, “To this day, it’s one of the most painful things I’ve ever experienced in my life.”

Britney Spears fans were quick to catch up with “The Social Network” actress on social media following the dramatic revelation, including her Instagram page. On Thursday, a source told Page Six that the “Mirror” crooner” couldn’t stand the “hateful and disgusting things people were saying” about him and decided to disable comments on all of his posts, not just his recent ones.
After the former couple split in 2002, Justin went on to marry actress Jessica Biel a decade later, in 2012. The two have since welcomed two children together. Unable to leave a comment on Justin’s Instagram page, fans have been swarming his Instagram page, asking if she is really going to stay with her husband based on the allegations made against him.
