Singer Britney Spears is reminiscing about her life before she was put under conservatorship for more than a decade.
The now 41-year-old pop star has been in conservatorship since February 2008 before a judge sentenced him in November 2021. During that time, he was not allowed to drink coffee or drive his own car, among other things.
However, prior to her conservatorship, the “Hold Me Closer” singer revealed that she had let go and wanted to reconnect with some old friends she had lost since conservatorship.

On Wednesday night, the “Toxic” singer took to Instagram to share a video of her dancing “with my handsome friend Cade.” Although it’s too dark in the video to tell for sure, it seems Britney is referring to her old manager, Cade Hudson, who she just went to Mexico with earlier this year.
“I saw this today and cried like a baby!!!” Britney said of the video. “I think it’s my second year working in Vegas!!! Of course I was never allowed to drink with my crew so I never went out!!! People won’t believe it but in 4 years I went out 3 times!!! A year’s New Year’s party … and the last performance party !!! Obviously all I ever knew was work ??? !!!”

“One thing I remember from my first few visits before the conservatory was how I felt like a sexy sassy pants and danced the night away in every town!!!” he revealed. “Skinny soak in the ocean with my dancers !!! And my best friend shamed us by peeing on the plant by the elevator because she couldn’t wait ??? !!!”
“The show felt better because we were deeper inside our bodies and we felt it with every sweat that came out of our pores!!! I was always so jealous in Vegas because of my dancer who was Mikey who was my best dancer … I could always tell when he was partying the night before because he was electric on stage !!! It feels like he feels himself !!!” he added. “Please come party with me now Mikey !!! I miss them so much!!!”

“And even though there hasn’t been a night of crazy drinking for 13 years… I still have the worst memories from before!!! Remember all evil comes from innocence!!!” he continued. “I can go to Vegas and be badass like my mom now!!! JUST SAYING!!!”
Britney then returned to reference the video she posted. “Tonight I’m here with my handsome friend Cade who I love and adore!!! He feels like a woman!!!” she wrote before making it clear: “Psss this is not a memoir. I’m not dead!!! This is a flashback to remind me to get my a** on the dance floor and shake my a** !!! PSSS I am the same American citizen now !!! I can go to the spa right now!!!”

The new throwback comes just a day after the “Slumber Party” singer posted – then deleted – a video of her dancing in Maui last year. In the caption, she told her followers that she had “retired from the business”, although since she deleted her message, it’s possible she changed her mind.
“This is a repost from last year’s Maui !!! I know it’s not that great BUT that song is my favorite song I’ve ever made!!!” Britney wrote in the caption of the since-deleted post. “It’s really weird because my dancers are on stage for this song ? !!! Oh well!!!”

“I heard this song today and actually realized it for the first time ?????? !!! I think that’s all the rules you know!!! Guessing all those rules and not having a voice for 13 years in what I want [to give] a lot of people ride a thrilling ride !!!” he continued.
“Oh well!!! Psss no wonder I quit the JUST SAYING business !!!” he concluded. “But I’m going to London next week for shopping ?️ so it’s not too bad !!!”
