Britney Spears Reportedly Hires Medical Professional Amid New Staff Members

Singer Britney Spears is trying to keep her mind occupied amid her breakup with Sam Asghari.

The two met on the set of the “Slumber Party” music video in 2016 and tied the knot in June 2022. Unfortunately, the “Special Ops: Lioness” actor filed for divorce on August 16, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.

On Saturday, sources confirmed that the 41-year-old pop star is working on new music amid the divorce as she continues to focus on taking care of herself. That seems to involve new medically trained staff as well.

There have been reports that the 29-year-old actress is concerned that the pop star is not following the same medical treatment as she did during her conservatorship, which ends in November 2021. However, sources say that the “Toxic” singer is still being cared for and has even hired a new medical professionals with experience working in the medical field to help care for Britney.

On Saturday, August 26, TMZ reported that her attorney, Mathew Rosengart, and manager, Cade Hudson, hired two new staffers for her Thousand Oaks estate. It’s unclear what one staff member did, but the other was reportedly a medical professional who had been hired to make sure Britney stayed on top of her medication.

Last Thursday, an insider told Page Six that a 37-year-old man identified as Paul Richard Soliz was hired without a background check last year to “clean toilets, mop floors and pick up trash” and perform other maid duties. However, the man has been charged with criminal offenses and various offences.

In April 2014, the man was convicted of one count of disturbing the peace and arranged a plea deal to drop the child endangerment charge, according to court documents obtained by the outlet. Two years later, he was convicted of driving without a license but successfully dropped a separate charge of driving with a suspended license in another plea deal. Worryingly, the man was convicted of possessing a firearm in December 2022.

Although the man was later fired, an insider told the outlet that they were “concerned” about the pop star and said that she had been photographed out and about with an unknown man who may have been a former employee. About an hour after the report was published, Britney took to Instagram to share a photo of herself wearing an all-black outfit.

“Be friends with me … I dare you ?? !!!” he wrote in the caption, though it’s unclear if this was a response to that report, another report or something else.

Sam Asghari Reportedly Worried About Britney’s Medication

On Friday, a source told Radar Online that Sam and Britney often argue about his medication use. Sam reportedly wants the pop star to “seek more therapy” and “find a psychotherapist” to help “unravel her issues” but it seems she doesn’t want to do that at the moment. He also wants her to take a “regular anti-anxiety and depression medication plan” similar to the plan she used during her conservatorship.

The previous night, a source told The Sun that the “Stronger” singer “isn’t a healthy person without the right medication,” adding, “No matter what he tells his conservatorship judge or convinces fans, he needs stability through a very organized program . medicines.”

“After he was released from conservatorship, he tried to stay away from his dependence on drugs,” the source continued. “However, in the last year that has caused many issues with his behavior becoming erratic, violent, even dangerous.”

“Sam urged her to get more therapy and also find a psychotherapist, not from her past, who could help unpack her problems and stabilize her thinking,” the insider said. “He also really pushed her to get back on a medication regimen to deal with her anxiety and mood swings.”

“Britney’s experience under conservatorship has left her fearful and nervous about medication. When Sam presses her on this, it will lead to an argument,” they said. “Britney would accuse him like that [her] father and want to control. Sam was pushed aside despite his good intentions.”

While it looks like she may not be getting the medical attention Sam wanted for her before, it seems like hiring a medical professional is a step in the right direction to keep Britney healthy… especially if she plans to release new music.
