Singer Britney Spears is back on Instagram less than a week after she deactivated her account.
On Tuesday night, the “Hold Me Closer” singer decided to deactivate her social media accounts, which is something she has done several times in the past year. However, some concerned fans decided to contact the police and request a welfare check.
On Thursday evening, the 41-year-old pop star took to Twitter to ask fans for her privacy. On Saturday afternoon, it appears that Britney decided to bring her Instagram account back online, although she has not made any new posts at the time of this writing.

Briefly Twitter message posted Thursday evening, the “Break the Ice” singer addressed the incident and said that police showed up at his gate but did not go inside. Regardless, sources say that law enforcement officers showed up at the house around 11 p.m., which must have shocked Britney.
“As everyone knows the police were called to my house based on some prank phone calls. I love and adore my fans but this time things went too far and my privacy was invaded,” Britney wrote. “The police never entered my house and when they came to my gate, they immediately realized there was no problem and immediately left.”
“It feels like I was bullied and bullied as soon as the incident hit the news and was once again portrayed in a bad and unfair light by the media,” he continued. “Throughout my life, I really hope that the public and my fans that I love so much can respect my privacy moving forward.”

Believe it or not, the “Oops!…I Did It Again” singer actually went back online Wednesday night, shared this post on Instagram, and then immediately deactivated her account, so many fans didn’t get a chance to see it.
Britney shared a photo of the Porsche 911 991 Carrera S coupe, which was presented at the IAA International Motor Show on September 20, 2015, in Frankfurt, Germany. It’s not clear why Britney liked this car enough to use it as a photo for her message, but as she wrote in her caption, “I love that car.”

“Hi ??!!! Where are we going??? I love cars ? period !!!” Britney wrote. “This safe civilized individual thing I dig !!! This shameless fishing for compliments is a safe bet … I mean am I supposed to trust the person next to me to shoot me ? !!!”

It seems Britney later tried to address the Instagram incident, writing, “I could sit still and be like MOST and not give anyone anything to think about on Instagram … but interest is the most useful and be good !!! And being good can and will wrap something in a shell ? !!! Living the loco lavida life !!!”

Britney then referenced a previous encounter at a Jack In The Box fast food restaurant when an employee saw her crying from her car at the drive-thru window and told her that it was “going to be okay.”
“Yes, it sucks to be me ??? !!! But as the guy said at Jack In the Box !!! Everything will be ok!!! Clap your hands 21 times … then kiss my goddamn king ??? !!!” Britney wrote. “Shh!!! Split the banana because we are all moving!!!”
