Singer Britney Spears is back on Instagram, but she’s not mentioning her one-year wedding anniversary with Sam Asghari.
The couple met on the set of the “Slumber Party” music video in 2016 but had to wait until her conservatorship ended in November 2021 before getting married on June 9, 2022.
On Friday, the Iranian actor took to his Instagram Stories to share some sweet tributes to his wife. Britney deleted her Instagram on Thursday night after sharing a “weird” story about her uncle and restored her account on Friday night; however, she hasn’t posted anything about her birthday… or anything.

Although the “Hold Me Closer” singer’s Instagram account is back in operation, she has not made any posts since Thursday evening. Sam, on the other hand, shared three tributes to his wife through his Instagram Stories.
On Friday evening, he shared a photo of Britney’s hand resting on his. She wore jeweled studs that matched the diamonds in her ring as they both showed off their wedding bonds.
The text above the photo reads, “Happy 1 year anniversary to me & my better family.”
Sam Shares Sweet Video of His Wedding With Britney
A few hours later, the 29-year-old actor shared a 44-second video on his Instagram Stories. The text at the bottom of the video reads, “One year married to the woman of my dreams. Happy birthday, my love.”
The video begins with a shot of Sam and Britney in their wedding dresses before it cuts to a shot of Britney’s wedding ring and dress. It featured images of each of them preparing for the wedding, along with Britney riding in a horse-drawn carriage covered in pink and white roses – her favorite flowers.

The video then cuts to the couple standing in front of the altar to exchange their wedding vows before they get into a car together. They then kiss in the living room and on the balcony before it cuts to their wedding invitation photo.
The two then got into a car that displayed “Newlyweds” on a sign mounted in the back, while famous friends waved and cheered on the happy couple.
Looks like Sam Plans To Cook Dinner For Britney Tonight!
In another video posted hours after her wedding video, the former personal fitness trainer shared a sixteen-second clip of her about to make dinner. It looks like he and Britney will be enjoying a quiet night together for their one-year anniversary, free from any possible paparazzi that might ruin their night.
Sam shared a look at some of the ingredients he used, including pasta, garlic, pasta sauce, and slices of Colby Jack Tillamook cheese, which he ended up feeding to the couple’s two dogs: Porsha and Sawyer.
“Cooking a little tonight, but before I do, I have to pay taxes… to… the government,” he said as he fed slices of cheese to the two dogs, who appeared to be tied up in the kitchen next to him.
Britney Spears Doesn’t Delete Posts That May Have Caused Her To Delete Instagram… Or Her Comments!
Britney Spears deleted her Instagram account on Thursday evening after sharing a story about her uncle, who happens to look like actor Brad Pitt. Although he has turned off comments on most of his posts throughout 2023, he left comments on this one.
It’s unclear why she deleted her Instagram about an hour after this post, or why she decided to leave a comment. In the caption of this Instagram post, Britney wrote, “We all have family problems but I have a beautiful family!!! My mom and dad were an amazing couple when they were young … like surprisingly attractive!!! I’m sharing this picture because he looks like my uncle, it’s kinda creepy !!!”

“My father’s two brothers lived with us when I was growing up … when I was 2 years old, a picture similar to this one helped me potty train my little one … my baby’s little potty was bright yellow but one day when I sat down, there was a crack in the seat and it cut my little booty!!!” he explained. “All I remember is that he picked me up, we looked in the mirror together and he said ‘don’t cry’ !!!”
Sam joked, “Brad stop teasing my wife with your taste [sic] long blonde hair” while other fans questioned why Britney decided to share the story alongside a photo of Brad Pitt. “Brad Pitt will wonder why he’s trending lmao,” commented one fan. “Anyone else think it’s weird that an uncle would train his nephew? And then he’ll randomly post it decades later?” another follower asked.
“Y’all are going to remind him why he doesn’t comment,” a third fan chimed in. “I’m not sure about asking your uncle to train you,” one follower shared. “Sorry Brit… but weird post,” another fan added.
