Singer Britney Spears would definitely describe herself as an animal lover!
The 41-year-old pop star has at least one cat named Polly. In a previous Instagram post, she wrote, “My cat is French and very strange.” He then added, “He’s so smart and looks like a little cheetah!!!!”
She revealed the information in an Instagram post that also announced she got a new dog named Sawyer, writing, “He’s a white Australian shepherd with blue eyes!!!!! I found him in Maui like a dream and brought him home with me immediately.”
However, fans may not know that she has two other dogs – Sara Beth and Daisy – as they both haven’t appeared on her social media pages in a while! Until Sunday night, when Britney opened up a little more about her two pet dogs.
Britney Spears Shares Rare Video Dancing With ‘Baby Daisy’
On Sunday night, the “Hold Me Closer” singer took to Instagram to show off her dancing in her signature white long-sleeved dress and pointy-toe boots, which have appeared in more of her videos. At one point, he grabbed one of his dogs and pushed the pet dog up and away from him several times.
In the caption, Britney said that her dog is “spoiled” and has more clothes than her. He said that “Sara Beth” was on his show, which may have confused some fans, because he hasn’t talked about Sara Beth in a while. However, a Facebook post from June 15, 2015, shows “Princess Sara Beth” wearing a tutu in bed.

“Sara Beth is on her show right now … my dog has more clothes than me!!! spoiled ? !!!” he wrote in the caption. “I bought a little Louis V doggie backpack for Sara so when she showed up she was carrying her mineral tube … 1200 bucks for the little baby … then the linen sling … I swear I was shocked when I saw that too !! !”
It looks like Britney probably spends more money on clothes for her dog than on herself! “White suspenders and khaki mini shorts for her booty… That’s 2000 for a piece of cloth ???,” she continued. “Daisy has to be groomed twice a week but she was dirty yesterday… Pssss I had to dance in my boots ???.”

It looks like Britney might actually be holding Daisy in her latest Instagram video on Sunday night. On September 7, 2016, she shared a selfie that featured her making faces at the camera while holding a small white dog in her arms. He captioned the photo, “Dear Daisy.”
Unfortunately, Britney hasn’t actually shared her dog in many of her recent Instagram videos. She was excited to share Sawyer’s photos when she got them last year, but as she got older, she appeared less and less on her social media accounts.
How Many Animals Does Britney Have?
Per Celebrity Pets (via Newsweek), the “Slumber Party” singer adopted a Yorkshire Terrier Hannah in November 2012 and a Maltese dog named Lacey Loo in January 2013. Over the years, Britney has also raised chihuahuas named Bit Bit and Lucky and a Yorkshire terrier London.
In October 2021, husband Sam Asghari revealed that they also welcomed a Doberman named Porscha in an Instagram video. “Surprised my fiancé with our newest family member,” she captioned the time. The two tied the knot in the backyard of his Thousand Oaks estate in June 2022.
However, being a pet parent is not easy for the couple. In February 2023, TMZ was the first to report that Porscha, a Doberman, escaped from the couple’s property and began wandering around the neighborhood. She ran into an old man, in his 70s, who was out riding his bike, and bit his leg before Britney’s security team could locate the dog.
The man went to a local urgent care, but it was unclear how bad the bite was. Britney’s team told the outlet that it was more of a “bite” than a bite, but the couple was reportedly contacted by animal control after the incident to make sure the couple’s dog stayed inside their home and didn’t go outside again.
While TMZ reported that only Porscha came out and bit the man, it appears that Sawyer also escaped in an Instagram post shared shortly after the incident.
Sam thanked Dog Days Search and Rescue “for finding our baby from running like Forrest Gump down the road yesterday,” adding, “They’re really the best. I have been looking for a local rescue team to work with for a long time. They are a [non-profit] really helpful organization. Attached in my bio is a link to donate to this amazing team.”
