Pop star Britney Spears says her new puppy, Snow, would be “so mad” to see her latest Instagram video!
It’s pretty clear that the 41-year-old Pop Princess is quite smitten with her new dog, Snow, who she introduced to Instagram after her ex, actor Sam Asghari, filed for divorce on August 16 citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.

On Tuesday night, the “Gimme More” singer couldn’t hold back her praise for her new furry friend, Snow. It’s unclear when she adopted the pup, but it appears to have been fairly recently, considering Snow’s size has grown since the first video of her canine companion she posted in late August.
In the video, Britney wears a brown long-sleeved sweater, dark jeans and brown knee-high boots along with her new signature black choker necklace. He held Snow in his arms as he hugged her and stroked her fur. At one point, Snow jumped on Britney’s chest to lick her face while the pop star’s gaze stayed on the camera lens in front of her.

In the caption of this Instagram post, Britney wrote, “She’s so tiny ?? !!! But she is fierce and she is the queen of the universe ????????????!!!! Psss!!! Changed to see the day before he was dressed !!! He loves to get really dirty and play outside!!! He started jumping like a rabbit so I had to let him play!!!”
“But his fur is not groomed here and he will be very angry with me if he knows I post this ???? !!! But who says dogs don’t have intelligent minds???” he asked. “Most people prefer the intellect of a cat … I get it !!! But honestly I think cats are secretly smart!!! I can’t stand smarta– even if I am one !!! I prefer dogs 100 percent!!!”

Britney Spears and Sam Asghari Settle Custody of Their Five Dogs During Divorce
In late August, photographers caught the “Special Ops: Lioness” actor walking the couple’s Doberman, Porsha, in the middle of a breakup. The next day, TMZ reported that the former couple had reached an agreement on how to divide custody of their five dogs. Britney agreed to let Sam keep Porsha in the split, even though the Iranian actress had given Britney the puppy as a gift a month after their 2021 engagement.
“My fiancé was surprised [sic] with our newest member of the Family. Porsha,” he wrote in the caption of the Instagram video at the time. “Her name is Porsha and she means to love you unconditionally,” he continued, adding that the dog will be “trained to protect you from any mother who comes around you with bad intentions.”
According to the agreement, Britney is allowed to keep the couple’s four other dogs: her Australian Shepherd, Sawyer, her Yorkie, Hannah, her Maltese, Lulu, and another small dog. It’s unclear if Snow, the dog she finally introduced to Instagram a day later, is the fifth dog included in their custody agreement. The report also made no mention of Britney’s cat, Wendy, who Britney hasn’t talked about in a while.
Britney Fell In Love With Sawyer And His Bright Blue Eyes
Britney first adopted Sawyer in February 2022, after the former couple went to Maui, Hawaii. The “Toxic” singer said she fell in love with the Australian Shepherd puppy and his bright blue eyes at first sight. “Ouch…. Can you have two loves in your life because he is second !!!! I’m introducing a new edition to my family … his name is Sawyer and he’s a white Australian shepherd with blue eyes !!!!!” she wrote in the caption of an Instagram post at the time.
“I found him in Maui like a dream and took him home with me immediately. It’s funny … he doesn’t talk back but it’s like he understands what I’m saying!!!” Britney wrote at the time. “I think he understands me, especially with those eyes…he makes my heart melt…he needs me and I love that!!!”
