On Thursday afternoon, the 41-year-old pop star took to Instagram to call out the tabloids for spreading “constant lies” about her life, which she claimed were “borderline disturbing.”

On Thursday afternoon, the “Hold Me Closer” singer took to Instagram to share a clip from “The Andy Griffith Show.” In the clip, Griffith tells a young Ron Howard, “Just because someone says something doesn’t mean it should be printed. You don’t spread vile and unkind stories about people. Too many other stories to include, good stories.”
Howard replied, “When we put in a good story, nobody wants to buy the paper.”
In the caption, Britney wrote, “The constant lies from the media and TMZ have felt like borderline harassment…it’s so disturbing, due to the fact how important this time in my life is to be supported and respected!!! “

“Also, the way the news is constantly spreading lies about me is heartbreaking!!! I contemplate hope and excitement for my future!!!” he continued. “I have changed my whole life with the removal of my conservatorship and I deserve respect !!!”
“It’s almost embarrassing to comment on this because of how outrageous it is!!!” he added. “It is my right to protect myself from the cruelty of the outside world!!!”
It’s true that Britney’s name has been in the headlines recently. However, most of the headlines about it earlier today were pretty positive.

Although she said that they are not in touch at the moment, she added, “I wish him well. I shower him in light all day.” The two became close in 2004 when they sang Queen’s “We Will Rock You” together for a Pepsi Super Bowl commercial.

The two appeared in the ad with Beyoncé, who Pink also had nothing but praise for. “Beyoncé is the most beautiful person you could ever stand in front of. She shines like a goddess. He’s so talented, he’s such a pro — always has been — and always the sweetest, gentlest person,” Pink said. “So for him to be so sweet, and so gentle, and then fierce on stage is crazy.”
However, it is not Beyoncé, but Iggy Azalea, who hopes to collaborate with Britney.

On “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen,” Iggy Azalea revealed that she keeps in touch with Britney, as reported by Page Six. “Yes, I have been in touch,” he said. “We sometimes talk on Instagram.”
The “Black Widow” rapper said that Britney had DMed him and he was going to “message her back and everything.” The two collaborated on their 2015 song “Pretty Girls” and he would definitely be open to working with Britney again in the future.
“Would I be interested? Yes, of course,” he said. “My collaboration with him has always been one of my favorite collaborations.”

“I just feel like there’s a lot we want to do [‘Pretty Girls’] which we never get. We never got to do everything we wanted to do,” he said, noting that Britney was “limited” by her 13-year conservatorship, which ends in November 2021.
“He’s very limited, obviously. And now he has the ability to do it his way, [I would] 100 percent [work with her again],” he said. “I love Britney, and she’s a lot more creative than people give her credit for.
“Like what he did with Elton [John] so amazing,” Azalea continued, referencing her “Hold Me Closer” duet with Sir Elton John. “I’d love to be a part of more of what he has to do, especially when it’s 100 percent his own idea.”
