Jen Selter Shares More About Her Pill-Free Journey

Last year, Jen told her followers that she decided to stop using birth control and has been candid about her experience since going off the pill in her Instagram Stories. “After 15 years on the pill I decided to take a break and go hormone free,” she captioned a new video. “The @naturalcycles birth control app has been a game changer for me (thanks for the recommendation!). Here’s how it works: I take my temperature and the app’s algorithm analyzes my hormone-driven temperature changes to tell me whether or not I’m fertile each day. In seconds, I know where I am in my cycle.”

“With something new, it’s a bit of an adjustment, but I think it’s interesting to use the other trackers that are on the NC° app, including how I’m feeling every day,” he explained. “This has helped me become more in tune with my body. My first real period is finally here, which I’ve been waiting for! I love that the app allows me to log everything in one place. My birth control journey is no longer scary; it’s empowering. “
