Singer Britney Spears let her basketball skills be known after she was slapped by security following San Antonio Spurs’ Victor Wembanyama last week.
The incident took place outside the Catch restaurant at the ARIA Hotel in Las Vegas. As the security footage shows, Britney asked the NBA star for a photo and patted him on the shoulder. His security guard “backstabbed” him, but will not face criminal charges for the incident. The 41-year-old pop star went on to say that she is still a “huge fan” of the athlete, despite her fans’ disappointment over her disappointing NBA debut on Friday night.

On Monday afternoon, the “Hold Me Closer” singer took to Instagram to share a video of some kids playing basketball, which she credited to @courtsidefilms in the caption. Despite being a huge fan of the NBA star, Britney explained that she can hold her own on the court.
In the caption, she explains that she posts a lot of dancing videos on her Instagram page, but she’s a point guard when she plays at school. “Funny people see me dancing a lot ?? … AT SCHOOL I don’t dance or cheer … I’m the point guard ⛹?♀️ !!!” he wrote.
“I call all the plays and I’m fast because I’m like a rat ? … I can’t shoot as well as I handle the ball ?!!!” he continued to say. “A rush game UNKNOWN … no preparation … tricks … FAKE … balls … babies can play !!!”
Although comments on his Instagram posts have been disabled, fans know how much he can play! He hosted “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” himself in the early 2000s in a clip that went viral after Wembanyama’s disappointing start in the NBA.

Many of Britney’s fans took to Twitter to slam the 19-year-old French athlete following her disappointing start in the NBA on Friday night.
