Singer Britney Spears took to Instagram and Twitter on Monday night to tease a big announcement.
On Tuesday, the 41-year-old pop star finally told her followers about the surprise! Unfortunately, that surprise was spoiled a little earlier in the day after People magazine dropped the news that the “Toxic” singer’s highly anticipated memoir will hit shelves later this year!
Britney Spears Shares Teaser Video For Her Highly Anticipated Memoir
On Tuesday afternoon, the “Oops!…I Did It Again” singer took to both Instagram and Twitter to share a video teasing the release of her new memoir.
The 15-second clip features the words, “It’s coming… My story. About My Terms. Finally. Are you ready?” The video then cuts to a topless photo of Britney on the cover along with the title of her memoir, “The Woman In Me” and its release date of October 24, 2023.
The video ends with “Available for pre-order wherever books are sold.” Even though Britney disabled comments on her Instagram page, fans are excited to do so

One fan commented, “You have no idea how much we love you and how proud we are of you, Britney. I just want you to know that you have MANY mothers, fathers, sisters, sons, daughters, and friends all over the world and we will always support you no matter what.”
Another follower shared, “Already pre-ordered! So proud of you, your strength and courage.”

Hours before Britney’s announcement, People magazine revealed the title and release date of the long-awaited memoir. The book marks one of the biggest publishing deals in history for publishing giant Simon & Schuster; however, the book will be distributed through their imprint, Gallery Books, after a lengthy bidding war.
In a statement to the magazine, Jennifer Bergstrom, Senior Vice President and Publisher of Book Gallery, said, “Britney’s compelling testimony in open court shook the world, changed the law, and showed her strength and courage to be inspiring. Bergstrom went on to say, “I have no doubt her memoir will have the same impact — and will be the publishing event of the year. We couldn’t be more proud to help her finally share her story.”

On Monday night, the “Slumber Party” singer took to Instagram and Twitter to share a video of her dancing in a blue string bikini, long-sleeved white top and pointy white boots. Her dog Sawyer can be seen watching her dance and roam around the living room while shaking her hips for the camera.
“Great news coming tomorrow ??? … I’m so excited … can’t wait to share this news with you all !!!!” he wrote in the caption videos.
Many fans are expecting that he will drop new music. “The princess of pop is back!!!” shouted a fan. “Maybe a single or an album is coming??!!” another follower asked. “OMFG finally mom will give us something to talk about. Can’t wait, Queen. We love you,” a third fan chimed in.
