Brittany Mahomes is “ready” to welcome her baby into the world!
The 27-year-old is married to football player Patrick Mahomes II and shares a baby girl Sterling Skye with him. She is pregnant with their second child — a boy — and recently threw a baby shower with an interesting theme.

The expectant mother shared a photo from the event on her page of herself standing in front of a giant balloon display in neutral colors and nude alongside a life-sized giraffe figure. Brittany wears a white mini-dress with a thin, shimmery layer, long sleeves; she paired the look with white high heels while wearing her hair half up, half down.
The following slide sees Brittany holding her daughter Sterling, who is wearing a cream ruffled t-shirt with a neutral crochet overall and her hair is styled like her mother’s. In the caption, she wrote, “Hey baby boy, we’re ready for you.” The last two slides show the blonde beauty, giving followers a closer look at her glittering purse and stilettos.
While preparing for the birth of their newborn, the two decided to spend some quality time with their only child for now before she officially becomes a big sister. The Blast reports that the couple took the one-year-old to a pumpkin patch to pick some with friends before Halloween.
In the post, despite wearing an oversized flannel button-down shirt over black jeans, the fitness entrepreneur’s bump is still very noticeable. Her twin daughters are in a pink shirt version, accessorized with white sneakers and a white beanie with the number 15 on it — the number is her father’s NFL jersey number.

Standing close and holding her baby, Patrick wore a black hoodie over a white undershirt and gray pants as they posed for a picture in front of a truck full of pumpkins. The following slide shows the couple looking at him lovingly.
Another is a picture of the mother and daughter holding her baby wrapped in a white and brown blanket as the sun shines on their faces. The lovely couple also posed with another couple who were also holding their own children in the picture. The final frame shows Sterling sitting next to a similarly dressed toddler on the fender of a rustic pumpkin truck.

The beautiful couple first met when they were in high school — a story fit for a proper Hollywood fairy tale. In 2012 they started dating as teenagers at Whitehouse High School in Texas. In an interview with Today, he described himself as “just a normal, normal teenage kid who shows up at a family dinner and is nervous and everything.”

A year after the lovebirds attended their school prom as a couple, the Superbowl star shared a collage of photos from the event on her Instagram page with the caption, “The best prom date a man could ask for!!”
After high school, the Texan native left high school, and they chose different schools, with Brittany opting for the University of Texas at Tyler, where she has been rooted in playing soccer.
Patrick choosing Texas Tech should have spelled the end of their relationship. Yet, instead, they managed to make it work while performing well in their college athletic careers before becoming professional athletes.
The personal trainer went on to compete internationally in Iceland as a professional soccer player while he quarterbacked the Kansas City Chiefs. After the Super Bowl win in 2020, he proposed to the star, and after the birth of their daughter, they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Maui, Hawaii.
