Bronny James Follows In Dad LeBron’s Footsteps With Sign Nike Deal

Bronny James continues to make his father proud! The upcoming athlete, best known as the eldest son of LeBron James, is paving the way to the Hall of Fame.

With his sensational skills, the younger James might replace the Los Angeles Lakers superstar.

While the undisputed King of the basketball court has yet to drop the crown, his 18-year-old son has repeatedly proven himself to be a worthy candidate. The high school student recently got a big reward for his efforts.

LeBron James’ Son Joins Nike Family With New Endorsement Deal

Bronny officially joins his father as a member of the Nike basketball family. ESPN shared details of the incredible feat following the sportswear giant’s announcement of their endorsement deal.

LeBron James and familyMEGA

The label revealed they have a name, image and likeness (NIL) agreement signed with five top amateur basketball players. Not surprisingly, the lot is led by LeBron’s son, who already has a place in his father’s latest business venture.

In 2015, the four-time NBA champion signed a lifetime deal with Nike. This deal has resulted in some of the athlete’s iconic shoes, including his latest sneaker, the Nike LeBron 20.

Given Bronny’s renowned basketball skills and his father’s long-standing relationship with the sportswear brand, it was only a matter of time before the 18-year-old landed a deal with Nike. Proud of her accomplishments, the Sierra Canyon High School senior released a heartfelt statement.

“For as long as I can remember, Nike has been part of my family. Getting the opportunity to work with them and continue my family’s legacy on the court and in the community is wild — it means a lot to me.”

“Each athlete is recognized as a player who paves the way for the next generation on and off the court,” the brand said. “These athletes push Nike to think about new ways the game can break down barriers, bring people together, build communities and shape the future.”

The list includes Iowa junior point guard Caitlin Clark, Stanford senior guard Haley Jones, Sierra Canyon High School star guard Juju Watkins, and DJ Wagner, the top point guard in the class of 2023 from Camden, New Jersey.

Recently Turned 18!

Coincidentally, Nike’s NIL endorsement deal came as a belated birthday present for Bronny.

According to The Blast, the younger James turned 18 on October 6, much to the delight of his doting father. In an emotional Instagram tribute, the “Space Jam: A New Legacy” star shared a memorable photo of her eldest son as a child. The little boy joined his father on the basketball court, where King James was being interviewed.

Recalling the time when Bronny could fit perfectly in his arms, the father-of-three raved about how he couldn’t believe his little boy had grown into a young man. The 37-year-old continued by pledging his unwavering love and support.

Likewise, the NBA superstar’s wife, Savannah, showered her son with praise on her Instagram page. The proud mother shared a photo of her eldest son’s memories as a baby along with a loving caption filled with well-wishes.
