Brooke Shields Gears Up For Sundance In Latest Instagram Pic!

Brooke Shields is getting ready to show the world her true story!

Earlier this week, “Pretty Baby: Brooke Shields,” a documentary chronicling Shields’ rise to fame as a young actress and model in the late 1970s and early 1980s, was announced. This documentary is contributed by George Stephanopoulus’ production company, BedBy8, and will be shown at the Sundance festival this weekend!

After the documentary premieres at Sundance, fans will be able to stream it on Hulu.

Shields is all smiles in her latest Instagram photo, where she shares she’s on her way to a festival! He also announced the documentary on his social media account earlier this week.

Here’s the Lowdown on Stepanopoulous’ Career-Spanning Look at Shields’ Career!

Earlier this week The Blast took a look inside the documentary, which Stephanopoulos discussed in an interview with ABC News.

The documentary is directed by Lana Wilson, who helmed the 2020 Taylor Swift documentary released via Netflix, “Miss. Americana.”

Stephanopoulos was given access to Shields’ personal archive spanning over four decades! His wife, actress Alexandra Wentworth, is also friends with Shields.

He noted how the “Pretty Baby” actress “saved literally every picture, every commercial, every interview for 40 years.”

Shields’ interview subjects over the years have recently been re-examined. The former face of Calvin Klein jeans has previously spoken out about the unfair treatment he received in interviews as a teenager, including by the late legend Barbara Walters.

Walters asked 15-year-old Shields invasive questions about her body and sexuality in a 1981 interview. She later discussed the incident as an adult with Drew Barrymore.

“I thought ‘this is not right!’ Shields told Barrymore. “I don’t understand what this is, but I just… I behave, and I just smile, and I just feel taken advantage of, you know, in a lot of ways. (via ET Canada, per The Blast)

Shields will do more reflection in the documentary. Shields’ reflection will detail how the actress came to understand who she is, and how she learned to accept who she is in the midst of a society that is so unkind to women of all ages.

Shields Looks Comfortable As She Hits The Sundance Film Festival!

A happy-looking Shields flashed a smile in her latest Instagram photo. Rocking a cozy sweater and cozy winter sweater, she wrote, “Going to face Sundance,” with a string of emojis! He also tagged Sundance in the photo.

The official Instagram account for Sundance welcomed Shields in the caption of the photo, writing “See you there!”

Designer Wendy Bellissimo sent her friend a piece of advice: “Soak everything,” she wrote.

“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Kyle Richards liked the photo supporting Shields.

The vintage-inspired glasses Shields is wearing in the photo also received a lot of love in the comments section!

“Beautiful! Love your glasses too,” one fan wrote, “Who made them?”

“Big glasses so 80[‘s],” said another follower.

As of this writing, no date has been announced for the documentary’s Hulu premiere date.
