Brooke Shields Reveals She Was A Little ‘Green’ While Indulging In THIS Activity!

Life gives us many learning experiences. Actress Brooke Shields certainly knows this to be true!

The “Endless Love” star has been very transparent in telling his fans about his various life experiences throughout his career.

Some of Shields’ stories are on the serious side; she wrote a book about her struggle with postpartum depression, and her complicated relationship with her late mother. Other stories are lighter and funnier, as fans will find out on his podcast, “Now What? With Brooke Shields.”

Shields, 57, spilled one of her funnier life stories on the latest episode of her podcast, to guest Chelsea Handler!

Read on to find out the funny stories from Shields’ past, and which actress witnessed the memorable moment!

Shields has been revisiting his past in general in recent years

Shields rose to fame in the late 1970s as a teenager through controversial film roles and modeling shoots. The late mother of the “Pretty Baby” actress was often criticized for her daughter’s career decisions. Shields appeared nude in a 1978 film when she was just 11 years old.

She also famously went nude in the controversial 1980 film “The Blue Lagoon” and “Endless Love,” which was released the following year.

Shields, then a younger teenager, received much media scrutiny for this role and her participation in a highly sexualized 1980 ad campaign for Calvin Klein jeans. As decades passed and the cultural conversation shifted, Shields was able to recognize unfair treatment by the media.

Looking back and going through the endless list of life lessons is a prominent theme of “Now What? With Brooke Shields.”

The mother of two teenage daughters has definitely learned some moments of wisdom throughout her life, including what types of relaxation methods she may need to avoid!

On the latest episode of her podcast, Shields and Handler chat briefly about multi-drug indulgence, with the actress recalling a story from the 1980s involving “The Breakfast Club” and “St. Elmo’s Fire” star Judd Nelson! Before launching into her story, Shields asked to Handler, “What drugs do you think I can use, because I’m the worst drug taker like I can’t… I want to, but I can’t!”

The operator replied, “Yes, I can tell, I don’t think you should take any medicine!”

Shields’ self-awareness may be due in part to his experience when he smoked weed for the first time!

He told Handler with a laugh, “The first time I smoked pot was with Judd Nelson, and we went to see ‘Dry White Season,’ and, first of all, it was a bong, which I didn’t know how to use! I really trying to get my mouth all over the thing instead of putting my face in!

IN IT!’ Anyway, we get to ‘Dry White Season’, and it’s a packed theater and I’m sitting there and all of a sudden I start to go [mimics panicked breathing]and he’s like, ‘NEVER AGAIN!” Nelson’s “The Breakfast Club” features a memorable scene where the crew enjoys some green while in captivity; could his experience mirror one of the film’s characters?

The operator joked, “Yeah, any real drug user doesn’t want to be around a newcomer!”

Handler, for her part, also has an endless supply of funny stories in her arsenal, which fans will be able to hear a selection of in her new Netflix comedy special! “Chelsea Handler: Revolution” is now available to stream, as are all episodes of the Brooke Shields podcast!
