“Red” actor Bruce Willis has made a public appearance amid news that his mental functioning continues to decline.
Images of him being driven in a black vehicle around a neighborhood in Los Angeles have been doing the rounds, although the actor was not seen communicating with anyone.
Willis was diagnosed with a rare form of dementia earlier this year, which has allegedly taken away his language skills and “Joie De Vivre.”

Willis has been spotted making public appearances following recent news of how his language skills and cheerful demeanor have drastically declined due to his ongoing battle with dementia.
follow Daily Mail, the actor was driven around a Los Angeles neighborhood while sitting in the front passenger seat. He wore a black hoodie to go out and didn’t stop to communicate with anyone while driving.

Willis’ public appearance comes a month after Glenn Gordon Caron, the mind behind the action-starring 1980 sitcom “Moonlighting,” reported how Willis’ mental functioning had continued to decline since he was diagnosed with Frontotemporal dementia (FTD).
“My feeling was the first one to three minutes he knew who I was,” Caron said at the time, per Page Six.
“He’s not completely verbal; he used to be a voracious reader — he didn’t want anyone to know that — and he doesn’t read now. All those language skills are no longer available to him, but he’s still Bruce.”
Caron also pointed out that the “Die Hard” star has lost “joie de vivre,” a French phrase that means “joy of life” or “zeal for life.”
The Hollywood showrunner added, “When you’re with him, you know he’s Bruce and you’re grateful he’s there but the joie de vivre is gone.”

The third photo is a photo of his California driver’s license, which shows that his father’s name is also part of his full name.
She captioned the photo, saying, “d—, these photos are trending tonight. You are my whole heart, and I am so proud to be your Tallulah Belle Bruce Willis.”

“I have more hope today than I did after Bruce was first diagnosed. I understand this disease better now, and I’m now connected to an incredible community of support,” Emma said in an op-ed for Maria Shriver’s Sunday paper for November Caregiver Month.
She went on to say that Willis’ condition has helped her find a “new purpose” as she now uses her “focus to help and empower others.”
Emma also admitted that, despite still learning about the rare disease, she has found her footing, and that the experience has made her “stronger” than she ever believed possible.
