Some sources even claim that the two are almost living together after their six-week reconciliation.

A source has told the outlet that the former couple decided to give their romance another go after their first breakup because they “always seemed to have a special connection” while remaining “friendly for months.” Likewise, The Blast documents that another insider declared:
“Shawn and Camila have a lot of history, and they’re testing the waters again after coming back into each other’s lives. But it was just an affair, and they’ve ended it now.”
The source added that the ex “realized that it might be a mistake to give it another chance” and that “things ended between them for the first time for some reason.” They went on to insist that the former Fifth Harmony frontman and the 24-year-old Canadian “knew” they were “not right for each other romantically, and now they just want to move on.”
While the two sides haven’t spoken about the conversations that followed their affair over the past few months, it’s worth noting that they released a joint statement when they first ended their relationship in November 2021. At the time, they wrote:

The song caused a huge stir online, with fans immediately trying to dissect the inspiration behind the lyrics and how they connected with Cabello.
The “Senorita” hitmaker announced the single’s release on Instagram, writing, “‘WHAT THE HELL ARE WE DYING FOR ?’ OUT NOW. Started writing this song yesterday morning with my friends in upstate New York & finished it just a few hours ago. I felt it was important to share it with you in real time ♥️♥️.”
While part of the song refers to the wildfires in his home country, and the caption encourages people to donate to the Canadian Red Cross, some have called him out for using the sad event to talk about his breakup. In the words of one fan:
