Candace Cameron Bure is best known for her role as DJ Tanner in the family sitcom “Full House” (1987-1995) and the reboot “Fuller House” (2016-2020). She starred alongside the late Bob Saget (Danny Tanner), John Stamos (Jesse Katsopolis), Dave Coulier (Joey Gladston), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner), and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen (Michelle Tanner), all of whom reprized their roles in ” Fuller House” except for Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.
The “Full House” actor left the sitcom when it ended in 1995 and later became the face of Hallmark — particularly with his role in Hallmark’s “Aurora Teagarden Mysteries” franchise and the annual Christmas movie. However, after 14 years, the 46-year-old decided to leave Hallmark and join the American Big Family network.

Other famous Hallmark leads, such as Jessica Lowndes, Trevor Donovan and Jen Lilley, have also recently left Hallmark for the American Big Family network within the last year.

And today, Tuesday, September 13, Candance Cameron Bure announced her first project since leaving Hallmark — “A Christmas … Present” — which will premiere in November as part of America’s Big Family’s “Great American Christmas” lineup.
“One Christmas … Present is about slowly recognizing what’s right in front of our eyes,” Candace Cameron Bure said in a statement announcing the film, according to US magazine. “The hustle and bustle of the Christmas season will arrive before we know it but through the quiet moments we hear God speaking to us, directing our path to what matters most.”

The upcoming film Great American Family will star Candace Cameron Bure as Maggie Larson, described as an “overscheduled” real estate agent and mother who decides to spend Christmas with her widowed brother and his daughter.
While living with her family, Larson becomes busy and must relearn “the reason for the season.”

Candance Cameron Bure also produced the project alongside Jeffery Brooks, Ford Englerth and Gerald Webb on behalf of Candy Rock Entertainment. Brad Krevoy, Eric Jarboe, Amanda Phillips, Amy Krell, Lorenzo Nardini, Susie Belzberg Krevoy, and Jimmy Townsend are executive producers.
Michael Shepard and Bradley M. Goodman are supervising producers and Marlisa Fruehauf is associate producer. The film will be directed by Lesley Demetriades and written by Rick Garman.

“A Christmas…Present” will premiere on the Great American Family network as part of the Great American Christmas lineup in November 2022. The Great American Christmas is the network’s holiday programming event and will begin on October 21. Original holiday movies will air on the network every Saturday and Sunday.
