Candace Cameron Bure Refutes Being Caught In Alleged Chick-Fil-A Lie

Candace Cameron Bure sets the record straight about her relationship with fast food!

The Hollywood sensation is best known for his stunning portrayal of DJ Tanner in the beloved sitcom “Full House.” Outside of entertainment, the blonde beauty is raising three wonderful children with her husband, Valeri Bure.

After allegedly developing bad eating habits in her early twenties, the California native developed a healthy lifestyle that excluded convenience foods from her diet. However, some believe that the actress’ claims may be a bit exaggerated.

During a recent Instagram Story update, the Hallmark Channel star opened up about her love of food. The 47-year-old declared that outside of his favorite place, he had not eaten from another fast food outlet in two decades.

“I haven’t eaten fast food except In-N-Out in 20 years,” the TV personality announced in her post. “Some days, I wonder what a burger and fries from Mcdonalds’ or Burger King or Wendy’s or any other place I’ve never eaten would look like.”

While the “Fuller House” star is curious about the restaurant’s greasy menu, the Young Artist Award nominee claims her cravings can’t overcome her dedication to a healthy lifestyle. In a second post, the mother of three said she had no regrets.

“And no, I’ve never eaten Taco Bell or anything like that. I have no regrets. You can’t convince me otherwise,” said the Californian beauty, showing off her iron will. Despite her commitment to good health, fans are suspicious of her impressive achievements.

This eagle-eyed investigator scoured Bure’s Instagram page, looking for two decades of evidence she left the fast-food chain. As expected, Internet sleuths found a throwback photo from 2012, in which the “Christmas Town” star was seen with takeout from Chick-fil-A.

The since-deleted photo captured the TV personality with one of her sons in a car, posing with food from a fast-food outlet. The young boy holds a Chick-fil-A wrapper while his mother smiles with a drink in her hand. “We love chicken!” the 47-year-old captioned the photo.

This image seemed to contradict the entertainer’s claim that he had never eaten at a fast food restaurant except In-N-Out in 20 years, so his followers quickly called him out for lying.

“Maybe Candace Cameron Bure shouldn’t say she hasn’t eaten fast food in 20 years because that’s a blatant lie. She bought a Chick Fil A in 2012,” wrote one upset person, echoing the same sentiments of many who attacked the actress using the photo as evidence.

Another upset fan declared, “Strange thing to lie to, Candace.” Contrary to the misleading post, the representative of the Teen Choice Awards winner clarified that the situation is not what fans imagined.

“Candace took her son to eat at a restaurant. Candace doesn’t eat fast food and only orders iced tea, which she’s holding in the photo,” the source claimed, adding that the narrative fans are being peddled is “untrue” and “ridiculous.”

The “Just The Way You Are” star’s aversion to unhealthy foods stems from her previous struggles with food. In her 2010 memoir, “Reshaping It All,” Bure revealed she suffered from an eating disorder after “Full House” ended in 1995.

“I had a very unhealthy relationship with food that turned into bulimia,” the mother of three admitted, explaining that she used to binge eat and then purge. After going through this phase, the media personality developed a healthy lifestyle that he claims to be practicing to this day.

Compassion International Supporters Believe ‘Cancel Culture’ Targeted at Christians

Bure can’t seem to escape the critics, as she has previously blasted fans about her faith. Last year, the Californian made headlines by stating that his holiday film would not involve a gay couple.

Months after receiving backlash for allegedly not supporting the LGBTQ+ community, the “Monster Mash” actress defended her opinion on the “Unapologetic with Julia Jeffress Sadler” podcast. According to the 47-year-old, “Cancel culture” is a tool to prevent Christians from “speaking their truth.”

“Cancel culture is real, and it’s hard, and it’s hard,” laments Bure, noting that people are being prosecuted for their beliefs. However, the “She Cried No” actress stated that her faith encourages believers not to back down.

Perhaps this is why the entertainer confidently announced that the American Big Family holiday movie will not include same-sex couples. In a viral 2022 interview, the TV personality said:

“I think so [the] The Great American Family will keep traditional marriage at its core. My heart wants to tell a more meaningful story and purpose and depth behind it.”

Bure also claimed that the owners of the Great American Family channel “are Christians who love God and want to promote religious programming and good family entertainment.”
