Cara Delevingne finally addressed the horrific fire that tore through her Los Angeles home early Friday morning.
The famous model was out of town on business when the massive fire tore through her property.
The fire department reportedly took about two hours to control the fire. Following the ordeal, Delevingne thanked everyone involved but raised concerns about her cat’s well-being.

The “Suicide Squad” actor addressed the horrific fire on his Instagram Stories, with the first post capturing his two Persian cats. He seemed to imply that the amazing cats were injured or had died in the fire with words of regret:
“My heart is broken today… I can’t believe it. Life can change in an instant. So appreciate what you have.”
Next, Delevingne shared a video of multiple fire trucks outside her Los Angeles property and expressed her gratitude to these brave firefighters in a third post. His message read:
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the firefighters and members of the public who came to help.”
As for her cat, the runway superstar explained that the white furry duo is safe. She shared another photo of the adorable Persian species in their cat tree house along with the words: “They’re alive!! Thank you to the fire department [red heart emoji].”
The cause of the fire is still a mystery

As noted, the Los Angeles Fire Department faced a major challenge with the fire at Delevingne’s home. The fire was reported to have started around 3:52 am, while the call for help came in at about 3:57 am PST.
Firefighters then rushed to the scene and realized that some sort of back room in the property was on fire. It is still unclear what caused the fire, but it was so exciting and moving so fast that it nearly overtook the property.
Part of Delevingne’s roof collapsed, and it reportedly took firefighters about two hours to bring the blaze under control. Unfortunately, not all respondents escaped the terrible incident safely.

According to sources, there is one confirmed victim from the fire outbreak. An emergency worker reportedly fell down the stairs and suffered several injuries while trying to control the fire.
It’s unclear the extent of the firefighter’s injuries, but he wasn’t alone as residents of Delevingne’s home also required medical treatment for smoke inhalation.
A total of 94 firefighters in 13 different fire trucks attended the scene to extinguish the fire. In addition, there are four ambulances present in case of any medical emergency.
While firefighters and emergency workers put out the fire, Delevingne was safely away in England. He has been performing at the Playhouse Theater all week, making his stage debut in the musical “Cabaret.”

“It’s worth every moment. I don’t know what I need to let it go. I am stable. I’m calmer.”
Delevingne stated that opening up about her struggles gave her a deep sense of relief, admitting, “For a long time, I felt like I was hiding a lot from people who looked up to me. I finally felt as if I could be free and completely myself.”
The runway star also credits her successful sobriety journey to her girlfriend, Minke, who she started dating in 2022. Talking about her positive influence, Delevingne said:
“With my girlfriend, in this relationship, there are so many things coming at once that make me so happy and comfortable with who I am.”
