The son of ‘Teen Mom’ star Jenelle Evans is currently in the hospital following another escape attempt.
Unfortunately, this time, 14-year-old Jace is reportedly in the custody of Child Protective Services due to his latest attempt to run away from home.
Jenelle Evans’ 14-Year-Old Son May Be Going Into Foster Care
An insider with direct information revealed that Jenelle’s 14-year-old son ran away from his grandmother’s house on Saturday and remained missing until 11:45 p.m. Sunday.
Jace, who has run away from Jenelle’s residence several times before, has reportedly been placed under the supervision of Jenelle’s mother, Barbara.
According to TMZ, Jace is currently in the hospital, and due to his repeated running incidents, CPS plans to move him into foster care.

Jace was recently caught vaping at his school, according to sources. Upon learning of this, her grandmother reportedly took her phone. Despite advice from Jenelle, CPS, and the foster care team not to give Jace the phone at first, Barbara initially believes she can handle the responsibility.

Jace’s tendency to run away had become a recurring pattern. This marks at least the fourth instance of her leaving the house, with a notable incident in September when she slipped out of a window on the same day Jenelle’s husband, David Eason, was accused of abusing her.
It is important to note that Jace spent most of his childhood under the care of his grandmother. Although Jenelle regained custody earlier this year, she has run away several times, eventually finding herself back at Barbara’s house.

“He had to do all this therapy. And this wasn’t the last time he had CPS investigate his home, this was bigger than that. She will be in therapy for months,” a source said, adding that Jenelle is undergoing drug testing as part of the child welfare agency’s ongoing case.
According to reports, therapists have shown reluctance to work with Jace, possibly fearing a backlash from David and Jenelle. This adds an extra layer of complexity to an already challenging situation.

Court Hears Claims David Eason Injured Jace Evans
David has been accused of causing injuries to both the left and right sides of Jace’s neck, as detailed in a formal court suit obtained by US Sun. According to court documents, David allegedly “willfully” injured Jace during the September incident.
Court documents state: “The defendant unlawfully and willingly did, as the parent of Jace V Evans, who was a child, less than 16 years of age, inflict physical injury on the child. The physical injuries inflicted caused effects on the right and left arms and right of their necks, and were inflicted by other than accidental means.”
Jenelle and David have three other young children living at their home in North Carolina, including a daughter, Ensley, 6, whom they share. Additionally, Kaiser, 9, is Jenelle’s child from a previous relationship with Nathan Griffith, and Maryssa, 16, is David’s child from a previous relationship with Whitney Rich.
