Cardi B Says She Wants To Put Her Weight Back On In New Insta Story Post
Cardi has a new goal — to gain weight! She took to Instagram to shout out to her fans about her lack of weight which hasn’t happened to her in a long time.
In her latest Insta Story post, she filmed herself standing on a scale, showing 135.9 pounds as her current weight. Gesturing at the scale with her manicured fingernails, she said, “I haven’t been this skinny in a long time. I like at least 140. I wish I was 145. I need to put my weight back on. I need to take my Apetamin.”

The “Up” singer dropped a second post featuring a photo of herself looking thicker and with a message hinting at her ideal weight. She was snapped wearing a pale white long-sleeved knee-length dress that hugged her curves in all the right places while walking through the stadium surrounded by bodyguards.
“Here I am at 148. where I want to be!” Shouts Cardi B at the bottom of the post. Being thin is not something the superstar takes lightly, as she has spoken about how it affects her psychology.
In November 2018, she admitted via an Instagram Live session that she felt “stressed” due to her weight loss after the birth of her first child Kulture.
At the time, PEOPLE reported that while Cardi B couldn’t control the changes, she did reveal that once she gave birth, she did everything she could to lose her baby weight, including drinking Teami weight loss tea. The tea seemed to work in curbing her appetite, but she eventually became unhappy with losing all the baby weight because it made her look “too skinny,” which she didn’t like.
Elaborating on her distaste for being underweight, she shared, “I used to look too skinny as a teenager, and I used to hate it, and I hate it now.” “It has saddened me, made me sad,” added the “WAP” rapper. “My weight. You know what I’m talking about.”

Unfortunately, the weight gain didn’t go so well for him as he felt depressed and had no appetite, despite how hard he tried and how much he wanted it. “I wanted to gain weight so bad,” Cardi B confessed. “I’m trying to gain weight, you guys, and it’s hard, and I don’t know how.”
She said, “After I gave birth, I was so thirsty to lose all the baby weight, and now it’s hard for me to gain weight, and I hate it.” His parents also tried to show their support by urging him to eat more, but that didn’t work, because the more they forced him, the more he lost his appetite.
About a month before the Live session, the “Girls Like You” rapper complained about her weight when she called herself a “skinny mom.”

Not only does Cardi B want her weight back, but she also wants to be as flexible as she was before becoming a mother. In April, she told her TikTok fans how she plans to regain her flexibility by stretching for an hour every day.
She explains in the clip, “I want to be as flexible as I was before I had my son [Wave, 19 months], but my real goal is to be as stretchy and flexible as I was when I was a stripper. But hey, you can’t build Rome in a day. But can I?”

In addition to stretching, she works out for two hours every day, and her daughter accompanies her to the gym. The video update gave the Grammy winner’s followers a glimpse into her typical day-to-day life as a working-out mom, including some splits and some stretching.
Before stretching, Cardi B was seen working out with a personal trainer at the gym, and she explained why, stressing that she needs toned thighs and wants to keep her visceral fat despite liposuction.
