Beyoncé was coming off her record-breaking Grammy win, but here came Ivy Park and their lackluster sales to screw it all up.
Ivy Park Sales Struggle
MEGA
Beyoncé’s luxury athleisure brand is losing steam fast and we mean money. The brands that all the stars wear for their daily runs have dropped significantly. The Wall Street Journal shared that the brand is struggling, like, a lot, the partnership with Adidas is said to have lost about $200 million.
For those behind the scenes, this may not be a huge surprise as last year’s numbers were down about 50% losing the brand about $40 million, Adidas was expecting $250 million in sales that year. The partnership between Bey’s Ivy Park and Adidas is slated to end this year and they have not currently said whether or not they plan to renew the contract or let the struggling brand go.
Adidas Promise Ivy Park Good!

The executives behind the German shoe brand promised that Beehive would be able to continue using their bill money to buy the singer’s brand. They stressed that “the partnership is strong and successful.”
Adidas also continued to say. “We continue to be inspired by our collective vision and proud of the work we have created together.” A spokesperson for the singer did not respond to claims the brand was struggling.
Beyoncé and her team probably aren’t worried about seeing as they just dropped the Ivy Park line in Dubai with a huge fashion show alongside the grand opening of Atlantis Dubai, so why have a new show if the brand plans to cut ties soon?
Beyoncé Rolls In Dough

It’s also important to note that Bey gets paid no matter what. The mother of three negotiates herself a $20 million annual salary so even though Adidas is supposedly sinking and eating less sales, Bey posted a photo of herself riding a horse in a diamond-encrusted hat to announce a tour that’s sure to make her millions more.
Fans are scrambling to get tickets for Bey’s first world tour since 2016. Plus, the next US drop for Ivy Park is suspected this week and since fans want to wear the Ivy Park gear they’ve been in, sales are likely to skyrocket.

Social media is abuzz with new drops and the release of the grip that Ticketmaster has on the tour seats. “So who does beyoncé expect to buy an ivy garden next week knowing our money goes to the renaissance world tour?” asked a friend.
A follower knows exactly why the brand is failing. “It’s because they make it difficult to buy. it’s as hard as using Ticketmaster when ivy park falls. half the time you don’t know what you end up ordering until you get the confirmation email.”

Another follower felt the same way. “The Wall Street Journal said Ivy Park had poor sales and left Adidas $200 million in debt. That does NOT surprise me because 1) you can’t find it anywhere so we can’t buy it and 2) the decline comes at a very strange and inconvenient time for residents.”
Let’s also not forget that it seems that Beyoncé gives away more clothes than she sells. Every time a new outfit drops, all the celebs, influencers and even some micro-influencers are seen opening boxes of clothes with cards from Bey telling them to enjoy them.
Did he make a brand just to give to his friends?
