Cardi B’s famous microphone thrown at a fan remains unclaimed despite a bid of $99,900. Contrary to previous sales reports, the audio device will not leave its owner’s hands anytime soon.
The “Mic tantrum” became a hot topic following its use as an offensive tool by the “Bodak Yellow” singer. The sensational rapper threw the device at the concertgoers following the individual’s unsavory behavior.
Although his actions could lead to a nasty lawsuit, it seems to have a rainbow. The microphone supplier tried to sell the device to raise money for charity, leading to a bidding war that ended on Tuesday, August 8. Unfortunately, the agreed payment never arrived!
Too Many Bidders For Cardi B’s Microphone Turns Out To Be A Scam
When Scott Fisher announced the sale of the New Yorker microphone on his eBay auction, many wondered who would plunk down nearly $100,000 for the entertainer’s used instrument. In a sad twist of fate, no one was willing to pay that amount.

While speaking with TMZ, Fisher voiced his suspicions about the legitimacy of the bidder. After winning the auction with a pledge of $99,900, the anonymous individual had 48 hours to pay.
However, the bidder became unreachable, failing to respond to the auctioneer’s numerous messages. Given his intention to give the proceeds of the sale to charity, Fisher declared he would finish what he started.
If the highest bidder still doesn’t respond about meeting their $99,900 pledge, the microphone’s owner plans to offer the instrument to the second highest bidder. If this person is no longer interested in buying the famous microphone, Fisher claims he will sell it personally.
Audio amplifiers seem to have caught the eye as a case company in Ohio, LM Cases, supports the seller’s cause. After hearing about his struggles, they reportedly gave Fisher a beautiful microphone case to store the device for the next buyer.
The object, described as “Cardi B’s Shure Axient digital mic thrown at someone,” was first listed on eBay on July 29. The tool received over 100 offers from interested buyers before the closing bid was close to $100,000.
If the sale goes as expected, the proceeds will go to two charities. The first, called Friendship Circle Las Vegas, is a local charity that supports those with special needs. Meanwhile, a second recipient, the Wounded Warrior Project, helps severely injured veterans.

The hype over the mic tantrum wouldn’t start without the “Press” rapper, who while performing outdoors at Drai’s Beach Club & Nightclub, tried to get fans excited for his show by having them throw water on him. Once the fun moment was over, the Grammy winner continued the performance only to be rudely interrupted by a drink in her face.
Clearly upset, the “WAP” hitmaker threw his microphone at the offender. Some clips filmed by fans at the time show the individual apologizing, while other sources claim the microphone touched the wrong person.
A day after the ordeal, a woman filed a “battery” report against the entertainer. The plaintiff claims he was “struck by an object thrown from the stage.” Fortunately, Cardi dodged a bullet because the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department did not pursue the case.
In their statement, authorities announced they were dropping the case after reviewing the incident and consulting with the Clark County District Attorney’s Office. “This case has been closed because there is not enough evidence. No charges will be filed in this case,” they explained.
Tasha K Unsettled After Courage To Clash With Billboard Music Awards Recipient
Days before Cardi’s failed microphone auction on eBay, nemesis of media personality Tasha K made waves for crying about her poor financial situation. The gossip blogger was ordered to pay his fees to the entertainer but claimed bankruptcy.

The legal battle between the pair began when the social media personality spread false claims about the New Yorker. Tasha claims the 30-year-old man is an escort who does hard drugs and has an STD.
The “Clout” artist responded by filing a defamation suit against the blogger, emerging victorious in 2022. The mother of two was awarded $1 million in damages, $250k in medical expenses, $1.5 million in punitive damages and $1.3 million in fees lawyer.
Although this should have been a huge payment for the sensational rapper, the perpetrator avoided the settlement by admitting his financial problems. He filed for bankruptcy and sought protection from Cardi and other creditors.
