According to the document, obtained by The Blast, the “Star Wars” actor best known for his role in the Disney+ series “The Mandalorian” died at the age of 76 at his home in Venice, California.

The actor died on February 2, 2024, at 12:18 am. Atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease is listed as the official cause of death. The document stated that he had suffered from heart disease for many years, leading the medical examiner to declare that his death was the result of “natural” causes.

“I love to make him laugh, I always want to think how to make him smile, where the corner of his mouth will start to crack and I know I have him, then out comes his audible laugh. His laugh I can hear clearly now. His laugh I miss so much ,” he added. “She obviously shines on screen but man does she light up with such passion in that director’s chair.”

“I will miss my friend and mentor and that mischievous little twinkle in his eye. He’s one of the greats and pretty awesome. I am overwhelmed with all the precious memories we shared,” he concluded. “My condolences to his family and loved ones. He is a great person. Rest in peace, my friend.”
