In an interview with People magazineThe legendary 75-year-old Rock & Roll Hall of Famer bares his soul about his beloved partner, now 63, whom he prayed fervently after divorcing his first wife, Deborah King, in 2007.

“I was meditating and talking to God, and I said, ‘I need a queen to come home to share this. Love is unconditional, and I need someone to love me and grow with me,’” she shared. “And the next thing I know, here’s Cindy. The way Cindy walks like a New York woman, full of confidence.
