Casey Anthony’s damning portrayal of her parents is being tested.
The famous Floridian once dubbed “the most hated mother in America” suggested in a 2022 documentary her mother and father were involved in the 2008 death of her daughter Caylee, for whom she was tried but acquitted of murder.
Hoping to clear the thick cloud of suspicion around them, George and Cindy Anthony have now taken a lie detector test for a new A&E program which will air on Thursday.
The show taps a retired FBI agent to ask some sensitive questions about the puzzling case.

“Did you ever have sex with Casey?” George was asked at one point.
“Did you deliberately hide Caylee’s whereabouts?” he will be questioned later.
A trailer for the program shows a grim-faced father covered in wire as he fields a question.
Casey accused her father of repeatedly molesting her as a child in a 2022 documentary and during her trial.
“It all goes back to my dad,” he told Peacock.
“I know what he did to me – and that is my fear. I have one job – to keep her safe,” she said of her daughter. “I failed him again and again and again, because I was still protecting the people who hurt me.”
Tracked down to an Orlando mall shortly after the documentary aired ex-cop George dodged questions from pursuing reporters, but previously denied all of his daughter’s allegations.
A&E does not preview polygraph results ahead of broadcast.

Anthony told disbelieving investigators he hadn’t seen his son in a month and blamed a fictional babysitter for Caylee’s disappearance.
The child’s body was eventually found in a wooded area not far from his home and Anthony was charged with murder.
Prosecutors argued at trial that Casey killed Caylee by paralyzing her with chloroform and then taping her mouth and nose to suffocate her.

Casey “didn’t give an as–t” about her parents’ willingness to take a polygraph.
“He said he knew the truth, and so did his parents,” the source told the outlet. “A polygraph will not change the truth.”
Anthony was released from prison in 2011 and lives in South Florida.
